The gaming PC so far is perfect and very fast and the graphics amazing. Screen is large, bright and beautiful. Can operate many things at one time and have multiple tabs with no issues. Have played multiple games and so far no lag or stutter . After researching a few, I purchased this one for my daughter who is a avid gamer her last was a Lenova she had bought used that only lasted over a year before the graphic card had issues and needed a motherboard that appears to be an issue with that particular brand model. Instead of repairing we decided to purchase this one. Most have a small 15.6" screen this one is a 17.3" screen which is better and has 165Hz refresh rate as most have only a 144Hz . It has a a AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS Octa-Core CPU 17.3" FHD 165Hz IPS Display NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 16GB DDR5 1TB SSD It is thick and nicely made . chassis has a few extra tricks up its sleeve when it comes to cooling with dual-fan, dual-intakes (top and bottom), and a quad-exhaust port design. but like all gaming use one should also have a exterior cooling pad/fan but so far the cooling system has worked flawlessly . Multiple USB ports for various use , such as USB-c and also a USB 4, USB3 and USB2 and even a SD card reader and HDMI and ethernet if needed. The Price of this laptop was amazing in and of itself, such a great one for just a tad over $1000 bucks compared to many in it's category which are several hundred dollars more and some with less SSD and less ram and many with older graphic cards etc. So far this has been a great investment. Will update further ad time goes by to see how well it lasts, I hope it last many years and I understand it is also upgradeable for future longevity.

I'm probably not the best person to ask about this. The laptop this replaced was $300 when I bought it in 2014. That's like going from eating sad ramen for years to suddenly being thrust into the world of high-end steakhouse fare. However, my experiences with this powerhouse of a gaming laptop demands a review. Holy crap, this thing is fast! The browser opens in like a second. Hell, my games open in less than five seconds. The graphics are gorgeous! I can push the graphics settings in second life up to ultra and it won't make the fans scream! Now, I will say, it's not the quietest laptop. I personally don't care about that, but I know some people might, that's why I mention that. I do record music from time to time, but I've always found a way around the fan noise. I don't know how good the battery life is, I keep it hooked up for the most part unless there's like a storm or something. I know another thing that I was looking at when shopping for a new laptop was heat. It does get a little warm, but it stays well within normal parameters. I've never seen it even get close to the upper limits of what the parts can handle, and I can run multiple CPU-intensive applications at the same time. Just be prepared, it's a heavy laptop. I don't care about its weight personally, as it literally sits on my computer desk all day, but if you're worried about that, just bear that in mind. Overall, I give this product 5 stars! I frankly feel spoiled rotten by its capabilities. I haven't even reached its full potential. Seriously, this is a solid gaming laptop.

Great performance so far but upgrading 8 gb RAM is a must if you really want to get full benefits of this laptop. Screen is bright and honestly very vibrant and beautiful. Starts up very slow tho, it is very quiet as well. So far runs osrs and rs3 full hd flawless but will take up most of that 8gb ram especially if you want to stream.

It was a great laptop lasted about 6 months and completely shut off mid gaming. Other than that the graphics was amazing. Loved the settings and was perfect for streaming

The computer itself was good until the mother board fried itself in 6 months. The seller did not help at all. I called acer support , I went through all the ways to get it to work. So I have lost a lot of money it's just a expensive paper weight now.

I've been using this device for almost two years. Yes, a little late to make a review, but I will really say my opinion. I'm a computer engineering student and a bit of a fan of video games. I have all the possible programs that the university has requested from me for the career and it executes them perfectly. If we talk about video games. Its performance is incredible, I have been able to take advantage of it by playing from the most basic to the most demanding. If you are worried about ventilation, it is very good, if you manage to get a good support that is worth it and let the computer ventilate, believe me that you will not suffer and the computer will be able to give everything. Runtime, performance, and battery life (without playing) is perfect. What I like the most is its large screen, it makes it a very large and heavy computer for some occasions to carry it but I got an ideal backpack for that, it is also heavy, but personally it does not bother me because I usually have it at home. If you have big hands or don't want to have an extra monitor on your desk, believe me you won't need it. The only problem I have had is that in my country it is a very scarce reference and does not usually circulate, I had a problem with the BIOS and it has been difficult to get a technician to fix it, but it is not something impossible. In short, it's the best you can get for the price if you want power, large size, battery durability, aesthetics and 200% performance

Me encantó, la uso diario para tareas diversas donde el uso es moderado, en juegos sin quejas, sólo mantener conectada. PROS: *La pila dura unas 5 horas en tareas básicas como multimedia u ofimática. *Pantalla bien calibrada en colores *La app Nitro ayuda mucho por los escenarios, para darle potencia cuando se necesite o bien bajar la potencia sino es necesaria. *El RGB del teclado es muy brillante *El intercambio de uso de gráficos integrados o dedicados es muy útil y fácil de configurar *El procesador 78040HS es muy rendidor *La RAM DDR5 a 5600 MTS en un lujo, nada se traba, aún teniendo varios programas abiertos y pestañas en el navegador (tiene 16 GB, pero recomiendo subir a 32 GB porque con trabajo full, llega al 80% de uso) *En general excelente compra (La compré en 18k) CONS: *Realmente no hay muchos y quizá si eres de juegos me iría a la versión 4060 0 4070 si te da el presupuesto, pero francamente pocas persona los necesitan, principalmente por ser FHD. *El plástico aunque se ve de buena calidad, con el uso se pone brilloso en el touchpad. COMENTARIOS FINALES. * La recomendaría para universitarios o docentes, niveles inferiores está muy sobrada * Aunque tiene funda, es complicado encontrar mochilas para transportarla ya que aunque compres mochilas de 17", estas se quedan justas porque la laptop esta algo sobredimensionada por el diseño de ventilación.

La compré para la universidad ya que no tendré mi equipo de sobre mesa a la mano, hasta el momento ha ido demasiado bien, aunque la he estado usando un poco más para tareas y investigaciones en su parte gamer es muy buena he probado unos cuantos juegos como Fortnite, Warzone y GTA V en lo que he podido en jugar con gráficos altos es un muy buen sustituto para mi equipo de sobre mesa además de su almacenamiento de 1tb, además me gustó lo del teclado retroiluminado ya que puedes configurarlo a tu gusto ya que tiene cuatro secciones para configurar y también puedes controlar los modos del ventilador o regular manualmente la velocidad de estos . El único inconveniente que tengo es que la batería solo dura entre 2 horas o 2 horas y media y corriendo juegos un poco menos es mejor jugar conectado a la luz ya que da un mayor rendimiento y en cuanto a su tamaño si es algo grande, no es muy portátil que digamos pero para mí no hubo problema ya que cuento con una mochila que queda acorde a su tamaño.
