Easy setup. Great sound, even at low volume. Functional and sleek.
This is my favorite purchase this year. I barely have the volume up and I can hear it well in my room. It comes with extra little legs to adjust the height. They're prone to falling out if you're moving it around. So don't plan on moving your setup around too much. Other than that I have had no issue with setup and it worked instantly. I don't think you need anything extra to make this better unless you're a serious audiophile. It's lifted my monitor to the perfect height for my eyesight. It's a good extra space for my external hard drive to rest and my Xbox controller. Since I live in a dorm situation, I wish I had room for my desk to be placed elsewhere so I could use it more at night to not disturb my roommate.

Great sound bar in USB mode!
I have to tell you, after trying SEVERAL of the Amazon" top sound bar picks", this is it! I bought this after reading many of the Amazon reviews, and now I understand why this got some very negative reviews. But that's a good thing! I have this as my sound bar for a Lenovo Yoga AIO computer, and it blows the OEM speakers away! After several days of experimenting with this speaker, I can tell you this... - Connect the Soundblade via the USB-C connector AND set your computer's Audio Output to USB 3 Audio. - If you use the AUX 3.5mm cable provided in a headphone jack, your sound will be HORRIBLE!!! - Again, use the USB-C cable and then put the Soundblade in GAME Mode! The voices will be much brighter and clearer, and your bass will perform MUCH better than in MOVIE Mode! I have Dolby ATMOS available for the Soundblade, so it sounds great in the correct content.

Good but not great
The soundblade is way wider than I anticipated so it made placing it under my monitors a bit more difficult than I’d like. The usb-c cord provided is really short so placing it under my desk wasn’t an option (I could just buy a longer cord but eh). There’s also no software for it; I expected there to be so I could tweak the equalizer how I wanted and download whatever updates they make. The three buttons for eq on the remote are pretty useless and the speaker talks to you whenever you turn it on/off or change modes. Slightly annoying. Updating the firmware also requires you to have a FAT-32 usb-c (hard to find) that’s not provided and you have to send a request on their website to receive the file which is extremely odd and off putting. There is an update for turning the voice off/down, but I gotta find a 32gb usb-c drive first. With all that said, it does produce some great sound if you’re able to tune the eq in whatever software you’re using for audio but for something like YouTube where you can’t do that, it sounds pretty mid. The bass is pretty good for the price point and despite all my grievances, I’m glad I got it.

Unparalleled Product and Thought Process.
I never do product review because most products don't deserve it. This company Blue Ant and its Soundblade are actually astonishing. The packaging made sense, labeled in a common sense way. Not only was the packaging immaculate, they included EVERY SINGLE CABLE I might need. USB C to C, USB A to C, 3.5mm Aux Cable, US AND EUROPEAN POWER CABLE, Remote WITH BATTERIES. The device itself is sleek and took 30 seconds to hook up. The Sound is PHENOMENAL. I would have paid full price for this twice. This is a company that cares about its products and customer satisfaction. There isn't anything bad to say even if I tried. THANK YOU BLUE ANT, YOU GUYS GET IT.

Great sound, great design
Sound quality is an 8/10. For a desktop speaker with a sub, in this price range it’s very good value. The convenience of the shape and that it can sit under the monitor is fantastic. The design is very cool and it has some cool features like when you turn it on it plays a didgeridoo sound. It can go very loud, more than sufficient for a PC desktop speaker. Sound quality is good at higher volumes also. Great for games and movies, both have their own setting if you want to use those. (I just leave it in the bass heavy one) Negatives: Audiophiles are probably not the target market even through the sound is great, its not going to compare with pro studio monitors but it’s not supposed to. When you turn it on or off, or change the input a voice plays VERY loudly and you can’t turn it down. Usually not a problem unless you have a kid sleeping in the next room or something and using it late at night. I have reached out to the company and they have taken note of the feedback, they did respond very quickly so 10/10 for customer service. Overall this is a great product to replace your monitors speakers or if you don’t have any but want better than normal quality and tons of volume. I usually just leave it on to avoid the loud voice and it does its job very well. Great product and great company, I’m glad to be supporting them. The picture shows it sitting nicely under my 32inch monitor.

Excellent Desktop Audio Solution
The Soundblade is an excellent no compromise product. Firstly it sounds great, secondarily it is very helpful in terms of efficient utilization of desk space and lastly it looks cool on my desk too. The audio quality is crystal clear and the bass response is deep - better than I had expected. The term immersive seems quite appropriate. I had tried other products for my desktop speaker solution and they all fell short in one or multiple ways but the Soundblade shines.

Honestly? Pretty darn awful.
This soundbar from BlueAnt is just bad. Music on it sounds like you're listening underwater. Honestly, a real underwater speaker system in a pool sounds very similar to this. I played several songs rotating between my Apple Studio Display speakers, my Apple HomePods, and the BlueAnt soundbar and even the Apple Studio Display speakers sound better. The BlueAnt definitely has bass that the Apple Studio Display speakers do not have, but as far as clarity, the built-in Apple Studio Display speakers are better. The sound from the BlueAnt soundbar is tinny and outrageously bright. It sounds like the treble was turned up to 10,000%. The only positive I have to say about this soundbar's performance is the bass. It's the perfect amount of bass to add depth to the music, but without rattling your desk. Also, the volume range is tremendous. If you need a very loud speaker for some reason, this is great. It will go loud enough to hurt your ears if you're sitting right in front of it. But considering I like listening to music while working and only on medium volume, this isn't a benefit to me. If BlueAnt can fix the very subpar acoustical clarity, then this could be something useful. Until then, it's like listening to music underwater. I did notice that if you listen to it for 10+ minutes your ears start to get used to it and you think "this isn't so bad." But then switch the source to different speakers and you think "Wow, that was awful!"
