This is the perfect Crossword Puzzle Book (to me). It has BIG Print & Easy Answers. Lots of Varied & interesting Answers/Clues too. I have purchased TEN crossword puzzle books in the last six months & THIS ONE is by far my Favorite

I ordered this for my elderly mom to keep her mind busy and sharp. I specifically ordered it large print and easy because my mom is 96 years old and small print is hard for her to read.

The large print is easy to read. The puzzles are pretty easy, I don't know if they get more challengeing as you move through the book. It would be nice to have a section on easy and a section on medium.

I'm really enjoying this book of crossword puzzles. The print is large and easy to see, the puzzles are pretty easy but not so simple that they don't require at least a little thought.After many, many years I just recently started doing crosswords again and I enjoy them a lot. At this beginning stage I don't really want something that makes me wrack my brain too hard. Just something fun. I expect that by the time I finish this book I will likely be ready to move on to harder puzzles but for right now these are just about perfect.If I focus solely on doing the puzzle, no glancing at the TV or multi-tasking of any kind, I can generally complete a puzzle in about 20 or 30 minutes. I've found that I really enjoy doing a puzzle with my first cup of coffee in the morning - it lets me get my mind warmed up to ease into my day.Once you get past the first four or five puzzles there are generally two or three repeated clues from previous puzzles in each one (not the exact same two or three clues in every puzzle). There are always a few longer answers that require a little more thought as the clues are sometimes a bit strange in respect to the answer but once you start filling in spaces it all works out (like basically all crossword puzzles).I'm very happy with this book of puzzles. I will say that it's probably more suited for ages 60-ish and over as some of the clues may not connect with younger folks.

Nice enough but a little pricey

Good for seniors

I avoided these kinds of books for years. Then I started looking at them them as a learning tool. The police do not come bursting through the doors if you turn to the back. Having learned an answer is not cheating it has given you the opportunity to l e a r n and to become more confident. Be Free to Learn.
