By far the best kit I’ve bought this month. I just started and I ordered several kits from IG. They were complicated, lacked clear instructions and awful to follow. This kit has clear step by step with pictures and the YouTube link is easy to follow. If you are just starting then this is the best kit to begin with. It also increases skills as you go, which makes it fun. The kit also contains everything you need.

Came with everything you need to start this hobby! Everything is of great quality, and it's relatively easy to understand. The video tutorials you can get from the instructions link are also extremely helpful. Definitely a great beginner friendly kit for anyone thinking of picking up embroidery!

Negatives first: The thread quality is terrible - you absolutely need the needle threader, even with just 1 or 2 threads at a time. Definitely do not try threading 4 or more strands at once, the needle eye is NOT large enough - do 2 or 3 strands, double it over and fold at the ends to give you the 4 or 6 strands you need. The instructions are generally pretty clear for the stitches, though there are no instructions or color guides for the animals/plants in the middle of each sampler. Also, someone had the bright idea of writing the thread color codes in the thread colors - despite most of the thread colors being far too light to read, even in daytime with my nose to the pattern. Both of these are annoying but can easily be worked around by using the provided needle threader and tracing over the color codes in pen. Otherwise, great value for money - the patterns are cute and seem to be in a good progression so are great for beginners or ppl like me who are looking for a refresher and a reference (I’m planning to make my own pattern and this will be great for figuring out what stitches to use where, etc).

The kit is the perfect starting point for anyone wanting to learn embroidery. The instructions are clear, the materials are high quality, and the patterns are easy to follow yet beautiful. It comes with everything you need, from hoops and threads to needles and fabric. I was able to finish my first project with no frustration, and it turned out great. Highly recommended for beginners or as a creative gift!

My wife wanted to learn embroidery so she got this set to begin. The levels of stitching are pretty straight-forward, however some of the included instructions/videos are a little confusing, but easily supplemented with any of the plentiful free resources out there. The included supplies are all of a good quality, and there is plenty to utilize.

As someone who’s never tried embroidery before, I was excited by the promise of a “4-stage beginner to expert” kit with detailed instructions and video tutorials. And honestly, the materials delivered on that—there’s a lovely set of four stamped fabrics, plenty of colorful threads, a hoop, needles, scissors, a threader, a seam ripper, and everything else you'd expect—all packaged in a beautiful gift-worthy box. The quality feels great and you really do get everything you need. But here’s the sticking point: the instructions are terrible for someone who’s completely new to embroidery. The printed directions are confusing and just show very vague pictures, and although the product page claims there are video tutorials, there isn’t a video for the beginner “easy set.” I ended up turning to ChatGPT and searching online for help just to figure out what to do next. For a kit marketed at absolute beginners, that’s a serious misstep. Pros: Excellent, comprehensive set of materials Beautiful, thoughtfully packaged Covers a wide variety of stitches (38 total) Cons: Instruction sheets are unclear and not beginner-friendly Promised video tutorials are incomplete or hard to find Not great for total novices—external help was necessary for setup and learning Conclusion: Great kit in terms of components and overall presentation, but the instructional support is lacking if you're brand-new to embroidery. If you've tried stitching before, you might manage to muddle through. But if you’re starting from scratch like me, be prepared to spend extra time watching tutorials or seeking help elsewhere.

Very beginner friendly. Good quality fabric and thread in my beginner opinion. The included paper gives you pictures of what each stitch looks like and they also provide QR codes to YouTube video tutorials. This will allow everyone to learn their own way and at their own pace, could even be fun for kids!

This is a great product for a beginner embroiderer. It was my introduction to the craft and I learned so much, im pretty co fidebt in my skills after this kit and am well on my way to a skilled hobbyist.
