I bought this to put on the bottom window sash so my dog doesn’t look out the front windows all day and bark at people. It was easy to apply. Trimming was the most tedious part—if you’re a perfectionist, make sure you use a straight edge to guide your trimming. It’s easier to get large pieces onto the window without collecting lint and hair along the way if you have 2 people doing it, but it’s possible with 1 person. The razor and squeegee that came with the kit worked really well.My dog is no longer interested in lurking around the windows since he can’t see out anymore. The result looks pretty nice, and way better than having to buy expensive blinds.

I was a little skeptical at first because of how reasonably priced this is but it went above and beyond expectations. It came with everything I needed to get it done and the instructions were clear. I’m pleased enough that I came back to write a review 😂 it’s user friendly, no prior experience needed, just follow the directions and it turns out great.

Easy to install based on the instructions provided. My package came with a spray bottle and razor but not a squeegee as advertised. I ended up using credit card and it worked just as well.

I can’t even begin to tell you how overdue this little change was for our home! Before installing, we had a curtain covering our double front doors. Yes, an actual window curtain! It all started when our son was born to keep the dogs from seeing outside and barking at every. single. thing. Our son just turned 5–so, yea, we were a little behind on this.My husband was content leaving the curtains up. I hated them. They were bulky and blocked a lot of light (they were not blackout curtains). If anyone came over, we’d have to move them to the side and cover up the door again. I wanted a solution that let in light while giving us privacy. You see, we live at the end of a cul-de-sac and everyone drives by and, having all glass front doors, everyone got a peak inside our home whether we wanted or not (as you can see in my pic). Especially at night when the lights were on.This privacy film has been perfect! Installation was an absolute breeze! My husband tag-teamed the project to save on time. My husband cut the squares (leaving 1/2 inch on each side) and I placed them on the glass. I made sure to start with a squeaky clean surface and followed the instructions to generously spritz the glass with water and then place the film. The included squeegee, cutting blade, and water spritzer were great additions and I used each of them for the project. Adhesion has been excellent. They’ve been up for a full week now and nothing has shifted. As a matter of fact, some tiny bubbles that remained after the initial installation have “dissolved” due to the heat from the sun exposure on the door.All-in-all, this is a great product! I highly recommend it to anyone seeking privacy yet wanting light to come in. For these 2 doors we used every bit of 2 rolls—no waste or extra leftover.I hope you found my review helpful!

First let me say, I do NOT have skills or aptitude for handiwork, but I applied this film by myself!😃 It took me hours to do it, but I finally got the hang of it, and I am beyond proud of myself!😂 Tip: Apply in daylight. I made the mistake of working at night, so the next day in the light, I could see some little imperfections. At night, from the outside looking in with an overhead light on inside, I could see that my TV was on but couldn't see the picture. If someone had been moving around, I would've seen their silhouette but not the person. In the daytime, I couldn't see anything from the outside, and it still allows for light to come inside. Great purchase!

Great product, provides great privacy

The application was cumbersome, but it is holding up well and looks nice.

I ordered 4 of these and did not receive the tools for installation. Was excited to install these, and now have to delay our project due to having to buy the installation tools separately.
