My 2 year old daughter LOVES this set. She plays with it for hours!! It is all fake, but honestly looks so real. The blow dryer does need batteries. The scissors are so dull but perfect for pretend haircuts. Honestly its wonderful play time for a tired mom. Half the time I'm sitting there with my eyes closed while she pretends to put makeup on my face. Then the other half her eyes are closed while I pretend put make up on her face. It makes for a very relaxing play time.

Just took it out the packaging and this is her first time playing with it so I can't speak to how durable it will be. It seems like it will last awhile (for being somewhat cheap plastic) My daughter is 2 and a half so she has a little trouble unscrewing some of the lids but she really likes it. I actually sneakly set it in her room while she was somewhere else and she was very excited when she found it. I choose this over the cute wooden sets because I wanted the dryer to make noise like mine (if only there was also a diffuser attachment for us curly girls). She does have to hold the buttom down the whole time, I do wish it had an on and off switch instead. I like that the bag is easy to put everything in and it was also important that all the make up pieces be completely fake. My daughter doesn't know what curlers are so I didn't give them to her.

You get a lot with this purchase and it’s really worth it. My daughter is around 2 so I kept things that are too tiny away from her or I got rid of it for her safety. The little curlers, hair ties, and clips were too small but still adorable, nonetheless. Of course, the blow dryer is a huge hit, and the combs are pretty nice quality for the price. Playing dress up is huge for their development so I would definitely recommend !

My granddaughter loves to blow dry my hair. So now I sit on the floor and she does my hair with her own blow dryer. It’s perfectly in her hands. She’s dropped it several times has it broken loud enough to make her think she’s got a real blow dryer but not annoyingly loud many pieces she’s very happy with it just the right size. She looks adorable playing with it.

Lots of cute accessories although they bend and snap easily.
