Does a great job of absorbing water. Just be sure to use the little feet on the bottom because there will be no airflow and it will smell mildewy.

This is fantastic! We have two cats that share a food and water station. Our boy cat thinks its funny to play with the water when he's bored. We don't necessarily agree with him, but this mat eliminates the need to constantly clean up the water mess he leaves behind. It also has rubber feet that adhere to the bottom which successfully helps prevent sliding. This is an amazing product that is extremely absorbant and looks great! I highly reccomend this to anyome looking for something small that can keep the messes at bay.

I love this wayyyyy more than the silicone drying rack I had before. This dries way faster, looks good on the counter and doesn’t need to be cleaned often. No smell at all and the dishes always dry faster!

I really don’t like to give bad reviews but because I rely on them when buying things, I feel it is important. I was really disappointed in this mat. It looked like a piece of wood and very rough looking. Like a piece of wood painted and the grain had raised. It did seem to absorbed water somewhat. But I could not get pass the roughness. I have some other small drying stones and they are smooth. I decided to send it back.

I recently purchased The Poppy Company Large Stone Drying Mat, and I’m absolutely in love with it! The stone material is incredibly absorbent, drying my dishes in no time. I was initially worried it might be too bulky or hard to clean, but it’s lightweight, dries quickly, and easily fits on my kitchen counter without taking up too much space.The mat absorbs water effortlessly, keeping my countertop dry and neat. I also love how it doesn’t get that soggy, damp feeling like traditional dish drying mats do. It’s also super stylish and matches my kitchen decor perfectly.I highly recommend this drying mat if you're looking for something efficient, durable, and easy to maintain. I can't imagine going back to anything else!

I was expecting it to be very smooth, it has a brushed texture. I do like the size and weight of this drying mat. It does feel ever so slightly plastic like (compared to other diatomaceous Earth soap holders I have), but it’s a fair trade for stability and weight. It soaks up water at the rate I expect it to and saves my nightstand from my humidifier. It comes with little adhesive rubber feet so it doesn’t let water pool underneath it. I’ll prob order a second for the dog’s water bowl. Doesn’t smell like anything. I haven’t had to clean it yet… but frankly doubt it will look super dirty. It’s a good buy, I dig it.
