I originally bought a Chinese elm bonsai for my daughter. It arrived in a sturdy container with packaging. There was no damage at all. It came with a booklet about how to care for the tree. When I opened it, and took it out, I knew I was going to keep it. It's beautiful, and the kokedama ball is fantastic. I immediately ordered this one for my daughter. 4 months on , both our trees are growing healthily. We live in different places, so our growing conditions are not the same. It's really easy to keep. I am definitely going to buy more.

A great Bonsai tree that has been easy to look after and lasted. Well packaged when it arrived and in great condition, only need to add a saucer so that you can place the moss ball based Bonsai where you like. Whilst this doesn't score highly on the Fresh Air scale, I didn't choose it for that reason. It does still have some benefit. The Fresh Air scale is based on NASA. Though you wouldn’t necessarily associate NASA with indoor plants, the research institute did a study in the late ’80s on plant abilities to purify the air. A healthy home environment is vital to a person’s well-being, and houseplants contribute to it more than you might think. Their main benefit is acting as an air purifier, so it sounds only reasonable that NASA did a Clean Air Study, that found which are the best indoor plants at removing benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene, and ammonia from our surroundings – chemicals that have been linked to adverse health effects like headaches, dizziness, eye irritation, and others.

My one gripe about this item was the packaging. Unlike other Bonsai's I've bought, which always seemed to have been packaged with almost obsessive care, this one was... well, pretty much dumped into a box, then some packing material dumped on top. To be honest, when I unboxed it, it was in a sorry state, and I didn't expect it to live long. I've deliberately waited a few months before reviewing it, and can report that with twice-weekly watering (by dunking the whole moss-ball in a basin until the bubbles stop), and an occasional sprinkle, it's doing very nicely. It's probably the most attractive and least fussy of all my little trees, and I love it - and I do recommend it, though I wish the company would package them a bit more securely.

I received my bonsai today. It was packaged carefully and securely. It contains instructions about the product. It was a lovely plant. I ordered as a gift to my mom. I am sure she is going to love it. Love the design of the ball shape under the plant that is so unique and cute. Easy to care . Thanks.

I bought this to give as a present , I am very pleased with it , a very healthy little tree . the packaging was protective and it has come with instructions for care . Also it is a good shape and I know who I am giving it to will be happy with it . Worth every penny .

The 1st one I received was in a really poor state, practically died, even when following the instructions, received a replacement which is alot younger but is definitely alot more healthier and it looks great, appreciate the time to come back to me and helping me replace it, thanks

The tree arrived in absolutely perfect condition , having been packed for maximum protection - it appeared to be in perfect health and not a single needle had dropped . The moss ball was appropriately damp . I am in my seventies and can say from the hundreds of plants I have had posted to me , this was as perfect as I have seen .
