I've had inexplicable coccyx pain for several months now, and have had 4 chairs in the past which have been unable to provide me any relief. I've also had several cushions which were specifically designed to alleviate pain in the coccyx, and while they do provide temporary relief, they are not suitable for prolonged use due to the fact that they are soft, and compress easily.This rugged chair has a hard seat - very firm foam meaning you have the comfort of sitting on a bed rather than a wooden bench, and with the added design of a split down the middle, it removes all pressure from the coccyx and spine. I was surprised how effective it would be, considering how thin the split is, but it is exceptionally beneficial for me. I no longer suffer from agonizing lower back pain when sitting for hours on end in front of my computer.This chair is suitable for work use and for home use - and can take up to 150 kilograms. The other Hara chairs only do 120 kilograms, which I am sad to say - is not suitable for me. They do look really good though, so look through the other range if your weight is in range.This chair also features a adjustable hydraulic lift, and reclining features. It comes on rollers, and with 5 legs it spreads your weight evenly so that pressure marks are less likely to occur than with a 4 leg chair.
