Works well and stopped me wearing the dirt
Hard to find out what I wanted to know about this before i bought it. I've never used a patio cleaner attachment before so some obvious things I didn't know and not much info around.First thing was how it works and can it do as well as directly blasting the ground with a turbo nozzle. There are 2 nozzles underneath and they are on the ends of a rotating arm. The arm spins really fast and the nozzles are quite close to the ground so yes it does clean well. How big it was is another thing not made clear. The nozzles are on 275mm centres so it cleans a circle about a foot diameter. Dirty water flows out from the bristles - no dirt thrown up in the air like using a jet. Up against a wall it does leave a 1 inch stripe not cleaned. I use the normal jet to move the sand and dirt after cleaning an area so sorting the corner by the wall is no problem. There is mention in other reviews about poor instructions and I have to agree. It is a single sheet in Ikea style - pictures and no words. And it is black and white which doesn't help with finding out what the red nozzles are for. Ikeas instruction pictures are much clearer than Nilfisks. The storage door on the unit has the red nozzles inside when delivered and says 'dirt hammer' on it. The nozzles themselves have little pictures of hammers on them too. So I fitted the red nozzles. easy to fit just insert and turn 90 degrees.I bought the Nilfisk P150 washer at the same time. It is powerful. Used with the patio attachment I have to hold the patio cleaner down. If held lightly it will take off! I could have tried adjusting the power knob but I wanted maximum cleaning. Holding it down was getting tedious so i duct taped a hammer on to the top to weigh it down - looked daft but worked perfect. The arm spins much like a hover mower and like a mower if you hit a loose stone you know about it with the sound it makes hitting the inside of the cowling. Happened 2 or 3 times on my first outing with it but can't see any damage. I have found the nozzles for sale as a set of 4 elsewhere for about £5 plus delivery so not a disaster if they do get gouged. Part Number 128500973It comes with an extra lance section which I guess is to replace the standard lance with a stronger version. There are screw up collars on the unit and lance section to brace the bayonet connection. I just added the extra section to make an extra long broom handle of a lance - no back ache!As pictured is how you use it. The lance pivots down to around 30 degrees from horizontal but if you hinge it forwards so you are using the cleaner kind of backwards it will go down to horizontal to get under obstructions.I'm writing this after having done what was an all day pressure washing job with my old set up in 3 hours with the new kit.

Much faster than just nozzel
I bought this as a replacement. This attachment is much faster and better (more uniform) at cleaning patios and drives than just using the nozzle, once you get your rhythm. Still hard work as you need to bend and use 2 hands. The pressure from your water supply spins the attachment underneath. The only gripe l have is that you need to hold it down as its so lightweight. I tie a 2k weight on the top to help with this and it works. Just makes it a little harder to move about. Also be careful you don't bash it into anything. They are pretty sturdy, bit if you crack it, the pressure wont be able to build up. That is what happened to my last one. I have added a pic of the damage on the 'OLD' one, so you can see. All in all, its a super attachment and does a great job!

Great time saver.
Makes cleaning drives and patio flags so much easier and effective than just a pressure washer lance alone. I bought the most expensive one which I consider worth it for the adjustable water flow and the provision of two exchangeable nozzles to allow different water pressures. Well made, sturdy but nice and light. Integrated handle allows washing of vertical surfaces which I suppose is a bonus. Only thing I had a slight problem with was when cleaning next to a lawn quite a bit of grass collected in the brushes which are fitted to it’s circumference and they proved a bit of a nuisance to clean. Wish I had bought one a long time ago.

OK up to a point.
As usual the price of this Nilfisk accessory is comparitively high. I'd think a more reasonable price would be around £12 or so - it's not exactly heavy duty. There is no way to alter the angle of the unit to accommodate taller or shorter people either. Having said that it's just about OK for the job - the scrubbing bristles are nice and tough so should last a couple of years - dependant on use. I would also suggest that anyone with an area to be cleaned of more than approximately 25 square metres or so might be better off looking for a more heavy duty version, if there is such a thing for us mortals, or hiring an industrial version as it's a slow process using this attachment on my NilfiskC120 pressure washer.

Decent patio cleaner
My patio and driveway needed a clean. I previously used my nilfisk c110 pressure washer with the lance. I thought I would try one of these attachments, also made my nilfisk. It came in a box and seemed a bit flimsy at first.I connected it to the pressure washer, which was straight forward and started a clean straight away.I was pleasantly surprised. As you can see, it was quite effective. There was less mess and spray than using a lance. I did my patio and then went on to do a medium driveway that holds 3 cars. It was a lot quicker than using a lance on its own.I can't think of any disadvantages of using this attachment. I am not sure how long it will last. But it did come with a large pin and instructions on cleaning the pressure jets, incase they got blocked up. I've only used it once. But I was happy and would recommend it.
