I saw another contractor using this exact tool, he let me borrow his for an hour and made going back to my old ox rubber version depressing, this hammer gives instant direct impact compared to a more rubber softer head. Ideal for setting out your edge block paving on a semi dry mix, kl kerbs and larger paving.The heads are interchangeable for when they wear out and there’s a few weight’s depending on how strong you are.I’ve also got the 3lb version which is also superb.Get one and you’ll thank me later.

What a great mallet.. l am an old fashioned kerb layer who has always laid kerbs using the head of a pick axe but after seeing a work mate use this mallet decided to have a go ... hence I have now bought one myself

Its not the size 3 thor mallet , its the size 4. Gd mallet thou ive used my size 2 & 4 mallet for years now n thou both still solid

I've use thor hamers for years now, I don't see myself working with other tools for laying kerbs and paying. Best ones in the market.
