This toy will last forever.
My dog is excited about this toy. The squeaker is inside somewhere and not accessible to the outside of the toy, so it should squeak forever, He will not be able to tear the squeaker out. I can smell the toy, and it smells good. He is able to make it squeak, it squeaks very easily, although the toy seems hard.He has been very happy with his new toy. He is a Jack Russell Terrier and a weiner dog, so he is not a big dog. I think this toy is too big for him. It seems to weigh a pound or two and when I throw it, it sounds like I am throwing a rock when it hits the tile flooring in our apartment. It is quite firm, and I think I am going to get him a smaller toy and give this one to a family member for his dog. His dog brings in rocks from outside to play with so he should like this toy a lot.

Great and almost indestructible!
I have bought 3 so far. It is a great pacifier for aggressive chewers. Squeak is an added bonus. Haven't found one that has lasted as long as this one! Great price.

Really tough toy
My French bulldog can chew through almost any material given to him. This toy has been a real challenge for him. He likes it and spends lots of time working on it. I thought at first it might be too heavy for him, but he carries it everywhere. I recommend this toy for aggressive chewers. Try not to step on it when you find it under your feet

My lab-heeler mix loves this.
My dog loves this played with it for hours seems very durable so far. Only reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5 was it's a little hard for him to make squeak. It might just take some time for him to figure it out. Takes some pretty good pressure to the middle section.

Very fragile “tough” toy
Used lightly for about 5 days and the head of this “indestructible” squeaky toy is coming off. Because my dog absolutely loses his mind for a squeaky toy, this was being used as training motivation. I would carry it when doing some training and my dog would get to play with it for awhile as a reward for doing a good job. It was then put away until the next training session. Today, it wasn’t squeaking a lot and I noticed the toy is broken. My dog is an aggressive chewer so I was willing to spend a little more for something “indestructible” and made for dogs like him. Poof - my money is gone. This toy is cheap, weak, and fragile. Time to look for a new squeaky toy that will actually live up to its advertising.Update: customer service is great. They contacted me shortly after this review and offered to replace the toy or get a different one. They asked what kind of dog I have (70 lb terrier mix). They said those dogs have a strong bite and should not be allowed to chew on the toy for long. Well, the whole point of getting a tough toy was so that my aggressive chewer dog would have something that lasts. The replacement is faring a little better than the first; there are already holes in the middle part so the squeaker doesn’t work great, but still works sometimes. My dog is never allowed to just sit and chew on this toy. It is only used as a reward for training and then we play fetch with it a few times and it’s put away u til the next session.

Pup hasn't destroyed it yet!
It is a very rugged toy. I did not find it for small dogs (under 12 lbs), but the toy for medium dogs seems okay for him (mini dashaund) and he manages to carry it around. He had destroyed so may supposed "for aggressive chewers" that I had given up finding him a long-term toy. But he loves this one and it keeps him busy.

Finally , something my dog cant destroy and LOVES. Better than any other toy I have gotten for her. Great value, great quality and a great chew for your aggressive chewer.

Favorite Toy!
My dog loved this toy. He was extremely excited when he found out it squeaked. He is a larger dog probably close to 90 lbs now and a very aggressive chewer. Most toys don't last an hour with him and he is either done with it or destroys it. This toy in the first hour held up and kept him occupied. He did not want to let it out of his site. The paint on the eyes did start to peel since the head was his favorite part to chew but that is just minor and I knew it wasn't a permanent thing.
