Great TV
Amazing TV. I usually get Samsung TVs, but my last one had LED failure after less than 2 years of use. Picture quality is spot on and colors produced are vivid, with darks still making picture visible without changing any settings. TV was lightweight and not as difficult to wall mount as my previous Samsung. Remote control with multiple app buttons assigned makes changing watch preferences quick. I have a Vizio sound bar so not sure of the sound quality, which isn't an issue as I've always chosen to have a sound bar with my TVs.

fine quality and excellent price for a 55 inch quality tv like this
this tv has the best picture i have ever seen on a tv and also the sound is also very strong and high quality. setting up with google was easy using your account, did not even need a smart phone which i don't have, i have sonim flip phone.

Great except Firestick integration with Roku.
I bought this on Black Friday. I set it up in my home (NY) and set it up in a vacation home (VT). I have used a Google TV previously and I found the setup very easy. I got a Roku soundbar which hooked up flawlessly. I also hooked in a Firestick which worked well, however I couldn't get it to power the TV on and off. When I tried to access Netflix in VT it asked me to validate my account. This is a 'feature' spawned by me using my subscription to Netflix from a different Internet Provider. It was a slight annoyance, but I wonder if future guests will face similar inspections (show me your papers!). The picture is great and the native Google TV works well. Roku & Firestick functions coexist nicely. I'm almost down to one remote except the Firestick won't cooperate with volume control on the Roku soundbar. All else is good for this cable cutter.

FANTASTIC VALUE
I originally bought a $699 Hisense U7N mini led on sale at Costco. It was a nice looking tv but viewing even slightly off angle the pic quickly faded. I found this little known Q8 (Q591f) model but Costco only offered it in 75" and it was FireTV OS. I found it on Amazon (Q581g) in 65" with GoogleTV OS and it was on sale for only $480. This is not mini led but it is Full Array Quantum dot and the picture is fantastic and there is not nearly as much fade with off angle viewing. I am more than happy with this TV and it saved me $220 over the mini led Hisense. I'd buy this over the more expensive options and get a better overall viewing experience every time.

Freezing and slow
I’ve had this tv for almost a year. I love everything about it except its slower than some I have owned and the worst part is when streaming on a app through the tv it freezes or WORSE will start to do a skipping with the frame rate which is unbelievably annoying.. only way to stop it is to force reset it in settings. I wish I could receive a new one to try to see if I got a lemon 😕

QLED REVIEW FOR MOVIERS AND GAMERS
Im 49 and love movies/shows/games. For movies, shows, and documentaries you’re going to get a substantial amount of clarity. You will see faded movement at times where the images blurr during movement but not even close enough to create a bother. The picture clarity for modern movies is immersive and mesmerizing. I really felt like I was part of the play. Good home theatre experience. Im sure sports are the exact same. GAMERS- DO NOT BUY THIS TV. I speak adamantly about this particular situation. There are a lot of unfixable lag issues with the X SERIES XBOX Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and COD World controller movement lag while aiming. Im no intro to electronics and settings. It is unfixable and horrid. Other games that offer different controller/graphics support are cool. Perhaps other consoles but please dont take the risk. Apart from a minor yet major gaming flaw I would rate it 91/100 for stunning picture and overall quality. TCL knows what they’re doing and I would most definitely purchase this TV again.

Best for price
I’ve had TCL previously and have been very impressed with their quality. This unit was a big step up in features and functionality. Like many smart TVs today, it comes with preloaded channels like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Apple, YouTube as well as TCLtv. The colors and clarity are very good. Setting it up was easy. While the sound is ok, it’s better with a sound bar or other ancillary speakers.

For the price, can’t be beat
For the price, this TV can’t be beat. I hooked up my own Roku and soundbar to it, and the picture is excellent. Not quite as good as my LG OLED but for a bedroom TV at a third of the cost of the LG, the value is spectacular.
