We have owed this gate for over half a year now and it is still holding up - also no reported floor or wall damage. The gate itself is accurate to photos and product description and I loveee the faux wood color. The gate and locking mechanism works well, I like that the gate can swing both ways for convenience, and we also liked that it had the option of the spring installation so we didn't have to damage our walls to install it. We have a pretty narrow hallway and small-sized dogs so it works great for us. I would highly recommend this gate.

Installs quickly and works great. Beware on the fact that the bottom of the door rack sits on the floor and you are almost quarantined to kick until you remember to step over it.

Although it is laminated, it looks much more expensive than what it costs. It is beautifully designed and assembly was easy. Very sturdy and durable.

UPDATE: broke again after repurchasing this gate! Extremely frustrated with this product! Not worth the price - save yourself money and time - don't buy Had it for nearly a year in our dog grooming salon and has broken various times! It doesn't always latch and has been a repeated problem for us. We have fixed it many times but now it's beyond fixing. Would love some updated quality hardware on this gate so this doesn't happen again. Will be buying another one though because it looks so good aesthetically and not an eye sore at all! So stylish but overpriced for the quality.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble (the video tutorial and packaging were helpful to ensure you didn't do certain steps prematurely). I would give 5 stars, but even with consistent adjusting, the gate almost never locks shut on its own. It will bounce and close, but not latch. My 1.5 year old also figured out how to open it when it is latched, so minus one star for safety concerns. When it does latch, it won't open or budge unless you use the handle, so it is overall well made.

Very aesthetically pleasing. Installation with no problems. We have had this gate for months now and the door closing/locking mechanism still works like new. This is much higher quality and blends in well with the aesthetic in our home. It is worth the few extra bucks!

I absolutely Love it, now for the humor of it all. I use it as a baby gate as well as to keep the dogs in a certain area. Well the gate was locked the dog went running head 1st into to the gate. Thats how clear the door is.The laughter through out the house was Hilarious. Ps. Doggie is fine

This was super easy to install (although the instructions were very limited, it was pretty self-explanatory), very sturdy, and the wood look matches our staircase perfectly so it’s not an eyesore.
