I've had this vacuum 3 months now and I'm really impressed. I've had Shark vacuums for years now and I usually get their pet, upright vacuums. When my last one died I was looking for similar and wasn't finding a "pet" one at the time, but this kept popping up and seemed the closest. I really was not sold on the auto-emptying station and thought that was unnecessary...but after 3 months of daily use, I love it. Is it needed? No. But does it make life a little easier - yup! I was the worst about finishing up vacuuming and not emptying the vacuum and having to empty it mid vacuum the next time, but this handles that problem and I really love that about it. I do have to remember to empty the bin on the base, but I usually remember before it's too full (usually, not always). I bought an extra set of filters for the vacuum and base and find that so far they need to be swapped out/cleaned about every 1.5 months (as i'm coming up to my next swap out).As for the way it works on pet hair - AMAZING! In our household we have 3 long hair cats, 2 golden retrievers and a goldendoodle that sheds worse than both goldens combined. It's the best vacuum for pet hair i've tried yet. I was really shocked that it got the dog hair off the carpet and backdoor rug that does not like to give up the hair no matter what i've tried. I use to vacuum my living area rug and then take one of those pet hair rakes to it to get the hair off, but this vacuum picks up all the visible hair so I haven't even felt the need to do the pet rake.It has 3 modes and I find I use the eco mode the most. The mid-range mode has so much suction it sucks up my smaller area rugs and the rollers stop working, so I just use eco mode on those and they are low/no pile so it works really well. When I get to the living room area rug it's considered a low pile (but plush) and I use the mid-range mode that auto speeds up the brush, and it picks up the pet hair great. On my backdoor mat that is one of those heavy duty get-the-water-and-mud-off rugs from HD, I use mode 3 and that gets it all off in a few swipes.Things I wish they would change on future models: I wish it just started on eco mode and not the mid-range mode. Or at the very least started where you left off the last use. I wish there was a way to boost the suction while on eco mode like my last Shark did. That little trigger boost was really handy.Battery life is good. Suction is great. It's just really a fantastic vacuum and i'm very happy with my purchase and will hopefully have it for many years like my pervious Sharks.

The suction power is fantastic – it easily picks up dirt, pet hair, and crumbs from both carpets and hard floors. What really makes it stand out is the Clean & Empty feature. I don’t have to touch the dust or worry about emptying it every time, which makes cleaning so much easier and less messy.The vacuum is easy to maneuver, lightweight enough to carry around, and the battery life lasts longer than I expected. I also appreciate how quiet it is compared to other vacuums I’ve owned.Overall, this has made my cleaning routine so much faster and more convenient. Highly recommend if you want power and hands-free maintenance in one machine!

This is, by far, the best vacuum I have ever bought! The swivel head allows for quick changes in direction and the light shows the dust and particles on the floor. The suction, once put back on the base, is strong and empties every time! Very versatile, too. I cleaned my window sills last weekend and simply detached the top portion and used it as a hand-held vacuum. I only have a few small rugs in my home and the power quickly adjusts. I recommend this vacuum!

I only have the vacuum for a few days and my early impressions are mixed. The good: its a nice looking machine and it stacks up neatly in its home base. The automatic empty feature is nice and works well. The vacuum is lite and easy to move around. The automatic surface detection and subsequent power adjustment works well. The top suction setting is really powerful. The bad: the vacuum seems flimsy and im not sure how long this thing will hold up. TBD. The battery life is weak. Especially when using the higher suction modes. Although I've not had to do my entire house with this vacuum (as I have another cordless for upstairs), I doubt this battery would last for my downstairs and 3 bedrooms without a charge in-between.Overall im happy with the product. Im assuming there is or will be battery upgrades for this unit available. If I find one, I'll definitely buy one.

The best vacuum we have! Lightweight, easy to manuver, holds its charge a long time, not sure how long because we are always done vacuuming while it is still whirring away (at least an hour). Great pick up on tile, wood and carpet (we have all 3) and easy cleanup because it automatically empties itself when you put it back on the charging stand. Highly recommend.

After reading the other reviews, I purposely waited a month before doing mine. I have two grown huskies and this is the heart of shedding season. It's the main reason I purchased this vacuum. I was nervous because some reviews said it doesn't handle pet hair well. Unless you've had huskies, you cannot imagine how much they shed. You could make new dogs with the hair that comes off of them in just one day. But this vacuum handles it like a champ. It doesn't clog and the auto clean feature works perfectly. I purchased it strictly as a way to quickly clean up the hair balls, (I call them tumbling tumble weeds), but it's now the only vacuum we use in the whole house. The battery is long lasting, the suction is way more than adequate, it's actually very powerful, and it's amazingly convenient to use.It easily detaches from the handle, making it an easy to use hand vac for day-to-day messes, the car, and furniture. It is well worth the price. Our corded Dyson hasn't been out of the closet since we got. As an added advantage, my 11 year old daughter now vacuums, just so she can watch it do the auto clean. LOL!!

Fantastic but not for hair :) it plugs real fast if you get long hair in it.Easy to use, and I love the auto empty feature.Lightweight so great on the stairs.Battery lasts longer when used on no carpet. Definitely works well on my wood floors
