So this is a decent jump box and also doubles as a pretty useful battery bank for camping and or emergency. To be fair it's started every vehicle I've tried it on at least when charged most the way but I feel like for it's size it has a kinda small battery capacity . It will charge my phone a few times but I've got smaller packs that will charge my phone 6 or more times . It's pretty easy to use definitely great tool to keep in your trunk but unfortunately the handle riped right off almost immediately. Probably won't hold up for say shop use but definitely beats using jumper cables when you leave your lights on or something . Just wish it was a bit tougher and I'd would of gave 5 stars

Of course we know most specs are overstated. As one reviewer explained this is no exception, HOWEVER, if you understand what you're looking at inside the jump starter and NEVER sit there cranking more a few seconds maybe you won't melt your cables. The 6000mAh battery stacks only charge two huge capacitors. When triggered to your weak, nearly dead vehicle battery the capacitors discharge with enormous power. If your vehicle doesn't turn over you have more problems elsewhere. DO NOT OPEN THIS JUMP STARTER!!! Those capacitors can and will ruin your lifetime. That's why the manufacturer uses only security screws. Just don't. I like it and will never use it for other than short cranks, let the battery recharge the capacitors and repeat as needed.

I tested this out when my 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD needed a jump, and the engine started up immediately. I was impressed! I haven't seen any of the issues spoken about in other reviews, like melted wires. This unit worked for me perfectly.

I ordered this because my hybrid's built-in inverter had failed along with its 12v charger. Incidentally, at 400 watts this inverter is the same wattage as the one built into the Ford Maverick truck. I found a single cup coffee maker that only uses 360 watts discussed on the Maverick forum, but most heating appliances are too much for this inverter. I've used it to charge 12v batteries by plugging in a trickle charger though. It's more than capable of jump starting the vehicles I had access to, and it lasts multiple days on a charge even when trickle charging my hybrid. It’s well more than 4 times bigger than my 100 watt power packs so it feels bulkier than necessary, but it could just be that the battery is that large. It's also pricier than any 2 of the jump starters and smaller inverters I've had, but it's less expensive than replacing the built-in inverter.

This is an absolute powerhouse with its powerful performance.It's also a very wise investment.Very easily starts a car with a dead battery!
