The SPEG UV-Pro Beenie Cap offers moisture wicking, cooling and UV30+ protection for those with medium to short and zero head hair. The SPEG UV-Pro Beenie Cap is manufactured using a combination of genuine CoolDry fabric and Spandex for flexibility. The CoolDry fabric combines the comfort of cotton and the quick-dry performance of polyester fabric. It maximizes the transmission of moisture from the skin to the outer surface of the fabric by a combination of special capabilities. The tetra cross channel cross section of the fiber results in weight reduction of 25% when compared to regular polyester. The tetra channel structure of the fiber makes CoolDry more breathable, which repels the moisture quicker and keeps the body drier and more comfortable. The SPEG UV-Pro Beenie Cap offers a sun protection factor of SPF30+. We still recommend you wear sun block as SPF30+ represents around a 97% of the sun’s harmful rays being blocked (SPF 15 blocks 93%). Its tri-panel design offers a good fit for all head sizes and a stylish look. Don’t be caught without yours!

Totally recommend
At first, I didn't think that this liner will be sufficient, I thought of returning it and getting a biking cup. I took it for a long (22 miles) MTB ride across Catalina Island in full mid-day sun (around 80 deg. F.). The liner was very useful, as it kept the sweat out of my eyes, and protecting my skull from sun-burn. Also, it ventilated extremely well. I have a small head and the liner feet me very well, my coworker has a large head and he used the same size liner, it seems that the liner has just the right amount of stretch to accommodate various sizes.7/11/2020 update:I have been using this cup since October 2017, and have been using it several times a week for road and MTB riding, also washing it every two/three rides. Even though the labels come off relatively early, the stitching is still holding very well and beside signs of often use, the cap is holding extremely well. I have decided to try different caps (at a lower price) and today I have returned them all and re-purchased this one. The stitching is very well done as it does not mark (as much as others) and indents on the skin, also the overlapping of the material is small but very strong as it is still holding as new.If you are looking for a thin, lightweight, well ventilating, sun protecting, sweat absorbing and very comfortable liner, then do give this one a try. Don't need to thank me, just enjoy your ride!

It makes head lines!
My first impression was that this was very tiny and reminiscent of the cap my newborn son came home with from the hospital. It does fit though, but the seams leave lines on my forehead unless I wear it inside-out. It is very lightweight and seems to keep my balding head from sunburn through the helmet vents while at the same time keeping my head cool. The white one will look weird under anything but a white helmet so I'll likely order a black one next. My first one went pink because of the red jersey I threw it in the wash with, so watch out for that. Pink isn't better than white and I didn't think of that when I threw all my bike clothes into the wash together. You also may want to leave your helmet on at rest stops. This is comfortable enough to forget it is on and it looks odd and if I take it off, my hair looks oddly flattened and slicked.

No more helmet vent hole sunburn pattern on my head and it fits well.
Bicycling in south florida means high exposure to UV in the summertime. After the damaged skin treatment during my last dermatologist visit, I decided my 7 5/8 hat size balding head needed more sun protection than a bicycle helmet could provide. This thin cap does the trick. The fit is fine, possibly even a little large. On me, it covers to just above the ear. So far, 90 degree heat with 77% humidity has been the worst day I have worn this cap. Cooling, if any, is not pronounced, but I don't feel any hotter and the sweat doesn't go running down my face or onto my sun glasses. I don't need a sweat band with the cap. I get no burn and don't have to worry about sun screen coverage in an area I can't directly see while spraying it on.I spray the cap off with my water bottle after each ride, it's dry in a few hours. Wish I had more hair, but that isn't going to happen. In the meantime, this little cap will do just fine.At spf 30, the manufacturer recommends using sunscreen with the cap, but so far, I haven't needed it, Glad I found a cap that is effective at limiting sun damage, fits well, and is made with a wicking/cooling material that is comfortable in our tropical environment. This is a great summer cap. It is not heavy enough for winter use in a cold climate.January update: After three month of four times a week use, this cap is still in fine shape and doing it's job.

What a great skull cap for an insanely low price
What a great skull cap for an insanely low price. My cycling gear is starting to get old so I'm replacing a lot of my stuff. I was apprehensive buying this cap online because I have a melon head, 7 5/8 in New Era cap size. But after reading the reviews I was confident this would work. I tried it on as soon as it arrived and it fit snug and was comfortable. What I like:• It's comfortable• Wicks away sweat• Offers UV protection so I don't get funny lines on my forehead from my helmet• Easy to washDislikes:• Came in white color only. I just hope it doesn't get super gross fast. This is a great option if you want a premium cycling product at a bargain price. Support your local bike shops but somethings just don't need to bought from them and this is a fine example.

Great liner, great price
This is a great liner. I bought this only because I couldn't find my old favorite liner. I've since found the old one, but I use this one more often. I have a ginormous head and this fits fine. It's a perfect fit around my head, but there is just a little too much fabric vertically for me. That is, I have some fabric bunched up just above my ears and the back of my neck and it comes down well below my helmet on my forehead. Those are small points, though. I really like this liner and might buy another one.03/11/2019 update: Liner is still working great. Very comfortable and is holding up well. Just bought another.
