Maui Jim Black Coral Sunglasses

Had my eye on Maui Jims for a while now as they are one of the few brands that still use glass lenses... I have various polarised Oakley and Ray-Bans that I have always thought were great, put these on and their clarity is next level... kind of like Ray-Bans used to be when they used glass lenses... couldn't recommend these enough if clarity is your priority

Bought these for hubby. He usually wears Ray Bans. I found these fitted his face better. They are hinged swell. No not cheap, but a very nice pair of glasses.

These sunglasses are easily the best I've owned, in terms of the lenses. The polarisation and clarity is in mu opinion bettter than anything out there on the market. I have a pair of Oakley polarised lenses as well, but they don't have the clarity that these do. In terms of fit, definitely go and try some on as there is a huge range. But, bridges are adjustable usually.

Outstanding pair of glasses. The view of colour's and tones through these polarised lenses are nothing short of breath taking every time I put them on. There is nothing out there on the market that comes close to these glasses. But it doesn't end there. The quality and feel of the frames is of precision, high grade materials and fine build quality. They look and feel top of line. The fit too is awesome. They hug my face nicely without pinching and stay securely in place, even when running. The customer service and repair centre is also excellent. I had to send a pair back for a repair that got damaged and 7 days later I got back the glasses looking pristine and brand new. A faultless product. I have owned top end Ray Bans, Oakley's (who's customer service is atrocious and they don't honour their warranties). Revo's and Serengeti as well as some from fashion brands like Prada and Fendi. Nothing comes remotely close to my Maui Jims. These are just in a complete class of their own. So much so that the competition needs to seriously raise its game before I'd consider buying anything other than Maui Jim. Yes, they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. Look at them as 'an investment for your eyes rather than a burden on your wallet' If you are looking at this review, thinking of buying, don't read or think any more. Just buy, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic sunglasses. Excellent build quality and optical performance. The only thing stopping me from giving them 5 stars is that every time they get dropped, a lens breaks and incurs a repair bill from Mr Maui which is not insignificant. Other than that, very nice. If you're clumsy like me, maybe a pair with polycarbonate lenses would be a better choice.....

I bought these knowing I needed glasses with larger lenses - these are 65mm wide with a 17mm bridge - and am super happy. Stylish glasses with superb all-purpose HCL Bronze lenses. You "feel" the quality in these, as compared to Ray Ban glasses with plastic lenses I last had. My only complaint, is I wonder if I got glasses that were bought and tried and returned by someone. They were quite smudged with what I think is finger prints, and the ends of the arms were bent down at a more severe angle than I'd expect from a brand new item. Regardless, these are beautiful sunglasses at as good a price as you'll find and I'm wearing them now.

#update: Helaas hoorde ik een knal en knalde het glas eruit.. Als het goed is dan krijg ik het geld terug .... Stukje hieronder klopt wel. Prima brilletje, eenmaal de glazen van Maui Jim of Serengeti gewend dan wil je niets anders meer..

Hatte schon eine Maui jim und bin abermals begeistert von Bild, Kontrast und der Farbintensität. Verabeitung ist Spitze. Das Etui ist inivativ aber gleichzeitig tricky. Vieleicht wäre ein kleiner Zettel mit Bebilderung zum Auf- Zuklappen und Einlegen nicht schlecht. Hab etwas rumtüfteln müssen bis ich's verstanden habe, hat sich aber gelohnt denn das Etui ist super praktisch.

Exelente producto, perdí los lentes anteriores, y estos nuevos que ordené cumplen exactamente con lo que se describe en sus características.
