The knives look as good up close as they do online. They work fine and look great on a cheese board. We have used these 3 or 4 times since purchasing them and they have held up well. I wish I could just throw them in the dishwasher, but hand washing them is not a big deal. If they hold up well after a few more uses (and I expect they will), I will consider them for gifts.

Beautiful and functional. Have greatly enjoyed using it for parties where I set out a charcuterie board and will happily buy it in the future as gifts, as I'm delighted with my set.
