Paul Mitchell The Demi Color Gloss, Glosses in 3 Minutes

Really great product, this is the one that my hair stylist uses at his shop and he recommended for me to buy really safe to use put it on and left it there for 3 minutes and washed it out. It does take a little while to get everything rinsed out but once the water runs clear you're good to go. Definitely is helping my hair stay the ash color that I want it to be where my highlights were. I'm trying to get back to my natural Gray and hair stylist messed my color up and this is definitely keeping it to where it's looking good while it all grows out.

Purple shampoo just isn’t cutting it for my hair. For reference, I’m naturally deep dark brown and am sitting at a very dark blonde with bleach but this hard water in Florida turns my hair yellow fast. I tried this and I will say…. It works better than purple shampoo but my hair is still PURPLE after 3 shampoos. My hairdresser said to shampoo with baking soda so I’ll try that. It’s not a terrible product but needs to be diluted a little. Also will stain your white showers if not cleaned IMMEDIATELY. And I mean clean while you’re still in the shower!

I went to Paul Mitchell cosmetology school so I’m still a big fan of all their products! (I didn’t graduate so I can’t buy them elsewhere with cosmetologist prices). I use this when I lighten my hair & also on my son’s hair since he’s a natural blonde! It works well! It has an almost warming affect after you apply it. I’ve noticed if I put it all over my hair (my roots are brown) it sort of refreshes my brown & neutralizes the few grays I have popping in. I have naturally brown hair, a level 4 or 5, but I color to hide the grays. My mid to ends are lightened to an 8 or 9, some 10. This helps neutralize any unwanted brassy/orange tones in the blonde AND brown (we have well water). Sometimes I will even mix it in my conditioner so it isn’t as strong and it works just as well!

This is a quality demi gloss and enhances my hair beautifully. I love that the browns look healthy and gives it an overall healthier look. Very easy to use, just apply from mid hair to the ends after washing then rinse after 3 minutes. Great product. Will purchase again

the best i can say is my hair did seem shinier after but it did NOT do anything for my color. I just did it last night so I cannot attest to how long it will stay shiny. it’s a straight up DUPE. subtle is an understatement

Okay, if you want purple hair, this is for you! However, a pearl ash it is not. I'm a dark blonde and if I reference the color chart I should expect little change. Let me just say I panicked when I rinsed my hair. It was a cross between purple and magenta... not pretty. And the worse part, it does not shampoo out. Why can't a find the perfect color that does not wash out? PM should take this concept and make it a true peal ash. Then I'd be sold!

This Demi color gloss is the perfect way to keep my reddish strains looking vibrant and fabulous! It takes literally just minutes to enjoy, simple to apply into my routine and the final results we amaze. My locs have never looked to refreshed and inviting!

The Paul Mitchel demi gloss in natural has been very helpful at blending/tinting my hair in between coloring. It is very versatile and I have used it to blend my hair. It says to apply to mid-length and ends. It does not say to use on the roots and I am unsure of why this is. I have used it to blend the growth of my roots without concern. I usually use a semi permanent to do this but this is very effective as well and seems to be easier and healthier for my hair. Its a great solution and I am happy about this so far. I may consider this in the future if not traveling. The bottles are 6 oz and to large for transit. It would be great to see a travel size version. So far, I like this and am likely to reorder. I will update with further time and use as needed Initial suggestions for improvement -Offer a travel-size version - State on the bottle whether it is safe to use this on roots or near the scalp as it suggests just mid-length and ends.
