Sturdy and steady. Well balanced. Excellent Cane
This is an excellent cane for walking support. It is much more sturdily built and balanced. I returned a similar (but cheaper) product because it was the opposite, very unsteady and it felt dangerous to use. Of course care must always be taken when walking but this product seems much better suited to providing the needed support. I am very happy with this cane.

A must have for stair climbing
This is the cane that you absolutely need if you have trouble ascending stairs for whatever medical issue. It effectively cuts the stair riser height in half making the climbing effort easy. The cane may or may not be of any help while descending stairs. The bottom of the cane is heavy and may not be the best choice for walking on level ground.

Pretty nice
Overall it's a good cane/step combo. The step part doesn't slide out/in very easily but maybe after using a few times it will loosen up some. If you are used to using a cane with the 4 feet, this should be a pretty easy transition. For me, I'm used to having a cane with the 3 or 4 feet but that moves and flexes like your ankle so with being rigid with no flex is proving to be a bigger transition so I doubt I would use on a daily basis. It will be for those times when I need the step portion. Ideally, they modify this to have that flex movement and make this a much better unit.

Tried it. Fell off it.
Not a good product for my needs.

Sturdy and firm
Bought this cane for my mom, and it was pretty sturdy. It certainly helped prevent falls. I had to give it away after she passed. Bless her soul; how I miss her.

Great idea but doesn't work!
The idea is great but does not work. Ok as a cane but a precarious stair climbing tool!

Joy!
This product was an answer to prayer. The pain in my knees had increased to the point that I could no longer climb the stairs. My grand children and son-in-law had to help assist me up the stairs. If they were not home to help me I would be confined to my room. This device has enabled me to navigate the stairs by myself without pain! I’m am thrilled!
