I got this mainly to protect myself from getting splattered with water while washing dishes and it gets the job done!I saw that it also had multiple deep pockets so I've taken to using it while cleaning around the house too and I've found it pretty useful. The pockets are really helpful because I can store my gloves, my cleaning rag, etc etc.I'm short so it's pretty long on me but that's not a bad thing and the material makes it so it's not restricting.

I have other aprons but none have the features that I like best about this set of aprons. These are soooooo much better because it provides more than just clothing coverage. It is far more practical. I definitely appreciate having the pockets because I can keep up with smaller items while cooking, even my cell phone. The waterproof nature is much more practical than my cloth-based aprons. I may as well donate my older aprons because I have no intention of ever going back to using them!

I ordered this for work. Wanted something light to keep me from getting soaking wet when cleaning on the job. The pockets peel right off and you still can get wet right through the material

I ordered these to use when painting. I oil paint as a hobby and tend to be a little messy. These aprons work perfectly to help keep me and my clothes free from paint. The neck strap can be pulled as tight as needed to cover my chest area. However, since my sleeves are exposed, I still have to wear a shirt I don't mind getting paint on. But it's nice to finish at the end of the day and not have paint on my legs and shorts because I have either dropped my paint brush or somehow accidentally swiped paint on me. I expected the outside fabric to be more of a canvas type material but it leans more towards plastic or vinyl. However, it is not stiff but soft to the touch. The inside material is also soft and I find the apron to be very comfortable. The tie string is VERY long so I have to wrap it and tie it in the front. I haven't washed one yet, but I think these aprons are going to work out fine for my purposes. Plus getting 3 aprons for $20 sounds like a good deal especially since they will probably last me for many years.

While it's also great for working with sauces, I mostly use mine for when I'm doing dishes. I tend to splash myself a lot, and these aprons are perfect for protecting my clothes from getting soaked.

The seller advertises that the apron is waterproof, which is false.

I BBQ a lot so grease spatters can happen. Three of these aprons cost less than one ruined shirt let alone jacket in colder whether.Compared to other aprons I have bought (and even one I still have which I hand made as a sewing project in a 7 grade home economics class for boys - we also "learned to cook" by making French toast LOL. A pretty progressive Jr High for 1964! The girls took a wood working and minor auto mechanics class as the boys did as well) the neck and waist straps are long enough and can be easily fastened and let loose. Since I lost the use of my right hand for most purposes in a childhood accident, that is especially important for me. But it will also be a convenience for you.Good heft to the fabric. Don't yet know how well it will stand up to being machine washed. Fits my wife well as well as myself and the black will suit either gender. Some aprons are frilly or flower printed instead.I recommend these aprons because they are well made, fit well, look good, and are practical. Pockets too.
