Perfect solution (part 2)
The media could not be loaded. I used the tap adapter in this set and then used Gardena part 36826 (repair connector) to fix the end of my hose and connect it back to the tap.The other pieces of this set will go onto the other end of the hose and my other hose. Very quick and easy to install. And the convenience of quick connect and disconnect…amazing.I went with plastic instead of metal. So be sure not to over-tighten. I cranked down a bit, barely just past “snug”.

Finally
I use these types of connectors on outdoor “ pump” style faucets. In the winter it is important to be able to quickly connect and disconnect hoses at the water trough - 2x a day. They have held up so well I bought more for my garden hoses. Very easy to install. More expensive than some others, but they are out performing so far.

Gardena Delivers!
So happy I replaced all the old, leaky garden hose connectors from the big box store with Gardena. Made in Germany, sturdy, super functional, and just a pleasure to use. With the connector at the faucet, it is one step to disconnect the hose and can be done safely with one hand. Awesome. In the time of cheapo garbage, this really stands out. I already ordered more and highly recommend.

The Best, hands down. Gardena has been around for 40 yrs. Trust that.I have purchased a few quick connects , aluminum Twinklers and knock offs but I finally realized Gardena are the best. I still have Gardena garden tools over 35 years old and sprinklers, quick connects, and nozzles that are all, STILL functional. I recently inherited my Moms Gardena Connects and they still work, no leaks or cracks and they are over 40 years old. They are faded but more than functional. Which is more than I can say for some of the **** you could get.
