I love this set of grow lights! I was looking specifically for the light bar that had a high Kelvin rating as well as at least 4 bars. I was able to find this one which has worked perfectly for growing my plants from seed. I love that the cord is long enough to be able to separate them for each of my shelves. The timer is great because I don't have to worry about remembering to turn them on or off. While I started out using the zip ties to tie the bars to the shelves, I realized I needed to have the light closer to each of my containers of plants. So, I had to remove the ties and came up with an alternate solution which works just as well. I wish the lights were a bit longer in length, but the price was great, and it works for my first attempt at growing seeds inside. My peas started growing before the lights came in, but now with this light, they now have outgrown the pots! Since they are LED lights, they're cool to the touch, and I don't have to worry about them putting off any excess heat and melting my lids.

I have tried several brands of grow light strips. These are by far my favorite .Extremely easy to install and love the functions- timer 6/12/16 I prefer over most 6/10/12 or 6/8/12. The 16 hour is nice to dim later for nice ambient light.But these strips pack a punch, as you can se my alocasia leaf is doing great- has doubled in size just being close to this strip. All else took off so fast they quickly got too tall for these shelves I had them on. Very nice for propagation also.I have just placed 2 more orders for my larger plant stands. Any philodendron I put under these love the lights.I truly believe these lights are the best bang for your buck, very impressed. Lightweight,no heat dissipation…just super lights!

Work great but we're shorter than I exprxted, nice and bright with dimming function and timer you can even stagger the lights on and off so you can have on 2 lights, 1 light or all three

I love these. They’re the perfect size(16in) and they let off great lighting. My little seedling plants have been growing great under these lights. I’d definitely buy them again.

I really like these so far. They are my first experience with grow lights & 5 months in, my plants are doing well & the lights are holding up great! They are easy & light weight to set up. Ibuse twist ties to attach them instead of the mini zip ties or adhesive that is included because I want to be able to rearrange them easily. The dimmer has a good range. I haven't used the timer function as I check on my plant babies for heat on & off so I control the lights at the same time. Makes sense to have it though. The dimmer doesn't stay atbthe same setting if the power goes out or they are unplugged and they do not turn back on automatically if the power goes out...just so you are aware.

Pros:- 16" long strips.- Full-spectrum.- New timer function that allows 6/12/16 hours per day version the previous versions which were 12 hours or had simple on/off switch (I never turned mine off except when watching a movie in the living room; they were on grow rack in kitchen on mezzanine floor).- Multiple ways of attachment including: (a) adhesive backing although you could do this yourself with double-sided foam tape, (b) zip ties or (c) mounting screw islets. The latter is a much-needed touch and appreciated, although mine are mounted on stainless steel shelving so the zip ties work best for my application.Cons:- As another reviewer noted, the supplied zip ties are far too short. You need to get your own. This is not a huge deal but if the manufacturer goes to the trouble of including them, they should be the right size.- The biggest issue I have is that each set only contains 3 strips of lights. In my application of using them on a stainless steel rack is that I have to stagger them (two on either side with one in the middle). This results in uneven lighting. My previous sets had 4 strips, which allowed me to install them serially (so they'd effectively be 32" long) in 2 rows. I don't need 3 rows of lights as my shelving is only 18-24" wide.Conclusion:- A nice update to previous version with improved timer.- Odd choice in providing 3 strips vs 4 strips.

When I first received the product, it worked as PERFECTLY.HOWEVER, IT TOOK A FEW MONTHS FOR ONLY HALF OF THE LIGHTS TO TURN ON. SOON AFTER THAT, THE TIMER FAILED. I COULDNT TURN THEM ON! WHAT A DISAPPOINTING EVENT. THE LIGHTS ARE USELESS AND NEED TO BE REPLACED.UNFORTUNATELY, THEY WERE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN!!!! HOW FRUSTRATING AND DISAPPOINTING!!I just bought a new plant stand and I WILL NOT BE USING THESE LIGHTS. I wanted lights WITHOUT a timing mechanism. I chose different lights that don’t have a timing mechanism and it’s purely manual. I DID THIS PURPOSELY SO I CAN USE A UNIVERSAL TIMER. JUST TO NOTE: if you wanted to put these lights on a mechanical timer, it’s IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE ONCE THEY TURN OFF, THEY STAY OFF AND YOU’D NEED TO RESET EVERYTHING EVERY DAY!ADDITIONALLY, If you are going away, there’s a problem UNLESS YOU HAVE SOMEONE TO TURN THESE LIGHTS ON AND SET THE TIMER EVERY DAY while you’re away, OR your plants won’t receive the proper light, and/or proper amount of darkness. I’M HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THESE LIGHTS. I BOUGHT NEW LIGHTS AND ITS A KNOWN BRAND THAT STARTS WITH “B”.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.**EDIT: The company was kind enough to give me a full refund. I WILL NOT change my review, but at least I was reimbursed.
