Excellent WiFi - Solution to Fixing Virgin Media Hub 5
Really good product. I like that it auto-loads its drivers by appearing as a virtual USB CD-ROM (this disappears once the drivers are installed). The extendable arm is also a nice touch and seems to help with signal strength. At first I had Wi-Fi issues where Windows showed “No internet” despite staying connected to the router. The problem wasn’t with the product but rather by the Virgin Media Hub 5 and its Channel Optimization feature. This constantly forces devices to hop between channels, which causes disconnections. How I fixed it: 1) Connect to the Wi-Fi normally with the password. 2) If you get “No internet,” restart the router (temporary fix). 3) Go to 192.168.0.1 and log in using the password on the bottom of the Hub 5. 4) Navigate to Advanced Settings → Wireless → Wireless Signal. 5) Under Smart WiFi, disable Channel Optimization. 6) For 2.4GHz, set Channel to Manual and choose Channel 6. 7) For 5GHz, set Channel to Manual and choose Channel 36. After this, the adapter performs excellently. My PC is one floor and two walls away from the router, and I’m getting around 90% of my 500 Mbit/s speed, far better than the powerline solution I was using before which was giving me 20%.

Does the job
It even connects 6GHz band on windows 10 which is not supported by MS although irreliably even if you set "6GHz first" option in settings. Unfortunately I can't measure real throughput as my USB is 2.0 but I am happy with the purchase overall.

Top notch
Excellent bit of kit, fairly boosted my WiFi connection. Was a bit perplexed at the start as the instructions state drivers are on a disc, however plug device into USB port and you should see a removable drive appear under my computer. The driver is on this.

Pros and cons and range
Had the txe70uh for about a month now seen consistent speeds of around 1.2gbps on a 5gbps WiFi the latency has also been quite low sitting at around 4-8 most of the time would recommend if nothing else works and you are close to your router What are the Pros and cons of my review Pros Consistent speeds | low ms | good performance if nothing else works | Cons Sometimes it randomly drops out if you move it slightly in the USB port The range on it isn’t the best gets 2 bars in a bedroom that’s directly above the WiFi box Overall not a terrible product mainly would recommend if your close to your router

Could be better...
Slightly disappointed with this. It works and gives me wifi, although it often drops out. Switched to a competitor which had the same item at a similar price and it's been far more reliable.

Easy setup. Works well. Stable connection.
I replaced an old lower standard TP-Link dongle. This is easy to setup and use and provided me with a fast and stable wifi connection on a gaming computer over my 6E wifi network. I'm happy with what I got for my money.
