A peaceful and clever strategy game with great production quality
Harmonies is a beautifully designed tile-placement game that blends creativity with strategy. Players draft and place terrain tiles on their personal boards to create habitats and attract animals, scoring points based on how well they match their animal cards. It supports 1 to 4 players, with a satisfying solo mode and an “expert” mode that adds nature spirit cards for extra depth. The game plays in around 30–45 minutes, making it a great choice for a relaxed evening or a quick gaming session. The physical components are excellent. Terrain tokens are made of wood, animal cubes feel substantial, and the artwork by Maëva Da Silva gives the game a dreamy, peaceful vibe. The game strikes a good balance between ease of learning and meaningful decisions, newcomers can pick it up quickly, while more experienced players will appreciate the tactical options around tile placement and card selection. That said, the scoring mechanism can feel a little complex at first, and because space on the board is limited, you really need to plan ahead, which may lead to decision paralysis for some players. Also, in solo play the “market” of tiles and animal cards can stagnate, making the game feel a bit repetitive over time. But for the money it is a great investment. Overall, Harmonies is a lovely mix of calm theme and tactical depth. I recommend it for players who enjoy thoughtful, peaceful games where building your own little world matters almost as much as winning.

Easy to learn, quick to set up, fun to play.
Genuinely delighted with this game Very easy to learn and fun every time. I like the 2 ways to play adding another element to the game. As a 2 player game it can be as quick as 20 minutes. But we just had a very technical 3 player game that lasted an hour and a half.

A pleasing game with lovely artwork and a very reasonably short playing time
This is a great game, which my wife and I enjoyed from the first time we played it. If you've played 7 Wonders, Harmonies is similar in that you don't really know who's going to win until the scores are calculated at the end of the game. There's less interaction between players than in 7 Wonders, because you're basically building your own mini-environment which is separate from those of the other players, and the other players will only influence your point-scoring possibilities depending on the landscape tokens and animal cards that they choose from those available (i.e. they might take some that you had your eye on!). After a couple of games, I'd say that building upwards with stacks of tokens is a better strategy than filling up your board quickly. What I liked best about the game was its easy playability, its relatively short duration and its appealing parts and artwork.

Great game, but packaging was not up to the mark. No airbags no hard covers. It was packed in a simple brown paper cover which ended up damaging one of the corners. I am giving the 5 star rating only because of the product quality. Amazon packaging was horrible.

Bought as a Christmas for the whole family, 3 kids, 12, 11 and 5 years old, we all love it. Quite a nice upgrade from Azul we bought last year!
