Top notch bird feeder.
I bought one of these like 17 years ago from the same company only a different design. It was heavy duty but after maybe 10 years the paint started to peel. So I repainted it and now it looks brand new. The birds in my area would fight over the seed so I bought this new dragonfly design. It's super heavy duty. Looks fantastic and I would guess last a lifetime. Maybe need some paint in a decade or so. If you want a strong nice looking heavy duty bird feeder/bath just buy it. You won't be disappointed. P.S. I didn't get anything to leave this review. I just like to tell the truth.

Looks good ;-)
I placed it in a tree next to a bird feeder that has been hanging in the same location for several years. I waited to write this review. It has taken some time to attract the birds. We have not been without rain, so perhaps they are not looking for water. I rinse and add clean water daily. The finish seems to be coming off as the water is brown each time. It is not peeling as one of the other reviewers stated.Hope the activity picks up.

It's great quality and very heavy
We ordered the bronze bird bath. It's great quality and very heavy. After having it up for about 24 hours several birds are drinking from it. No bathers yet, but hopefully soon!

Very nice
Arrived quickly and is exactly what is pictured. Large and heavy and should withstand use and weather. The gold chains have a cheap look for such a nice bowl, but they work ok and could be easily swapped out for something that matches a bit better. It's hanging close to my feeder and I'm still waiting for visitors but think they'll check it out as water sources get scarce. It's quite nice.

Solidly built
Hung it for two weeks nothing. Put rocks in the bottom, nothing. Took off hanging mode and set it on two cinder blocks. Finally, after two more weeks, a mockingbird used it as a fountain. Then sparrows found it as a drinking fountain as well. Now I can sit and watch them drink. Not being used as originally designed, but thats ok with me.

Deep diving for the birds.
Hang it, fill it, birds sit and bath in it. Silly, but it's true. The item is heavy, the material is thick, it holds water well, with no pun intended, huh!. I do wish the hanging hooks were larger for my big fingered hands. If being used on a shepherd's hook, make sure it is tall enough to protect the birds from predators and strong and surdy enough to hold it in higher winds. Water evaporates. You could become creative and add a drip hose or mister to it. I'm currently looking for a, forgetting what they are called, some sort of wave maker. Trickler?Oh chain is adjustableIt becomes hot in the sun, but easily rectified by dumping and refilling. I use an old Brita water pitcher. It's very simple and adds to my satisfaction of caring for the birds. It works.

Birds used this immediately!
What I like about this product was that it was easy to assemble, and easy to hang. I used the included hardware and hung it from a smaller branch that could accommodate the size of the S attachment at the end of the chains and it worked perfect. 1st day I hung it I had 3 birds all perched on the outside edge drinking from it. I have yet to see a bird get in it and "take a bath", but it is snowing here today on May 9th, 2020...I think maybe in the summer months they may use it that way at some point.

Satisfied with this purchase
Arrived on time and in good shape. I like the fact it hangs as the raccoons won’t get at it. I’m hoping the chains won’t rust.
