SwitchBot Security Indoor Camera, Motion Detection for Baby Monitor 1080P Smart Surveillance WiFi(2.4Ghz) Pet Camera for Home Security with Night Vision, Two-Way Audio, Works with Alexa

Cameras are very easy to install. Not much to it. Click the base where you want it, or don’t. Download SwitchBot app. Plug in power cord. The app walks you easily through the steps. I connected mine to my Alexa so that I can use the cameras to trigger routines. I purchased a micro SD card to save any photos I may need, but there is also a cloud option. The cameras have the option to either continuously save video or just any motion that triggered camera.I attached two pictures. One is night vision. The other is day vision showing view from app.I like the product and at the price, I will probably buy more. I definitely will buy other items they make. They both look and feel of quality.

My clumsy self has dropped this cam at least 6 times onto a hardwood floor from a height averaging 4 feet. Today was the worst. I shrieked as it busted open, exposing the inner workings. But get this! THE LIGHT REMAINED ON. It was still streaming video to the app on my phone, despite everything! I put it all back together & swore I'd come here to tell everyone how well-built this little cam is. 5/5 DO RECOMMEND.

Pros:- Stream on my Nest Hub!- Easy to setup- Good image with and without Night Vision- Motion Sensor differentiate Cat and Human- The magnet allow you to stick it everywhereCons:- Lack of stability if used without screws or sticker- Would I like USB-C- Android Apps need more improvementAt first glance, the camera seem well made, comparable to any other camera in this price range.The base of the cam could have been heavier, it would have made it more stable, you will really need the screw it or stick it with the screws and sticker include in the package, but they also include a magnet inside which is useful to stick it on everything metal (see picture).I'm disappointed that they don't use USB-C instead of the micro USB, this is a newly device and I would have expected this, but this is a minor point overall.The image quality is quite good when streaming, motion detector have nice "human detection" feature, it will detect me but not my cat as expected. The night mode works well with a clear and nice image.The speaker and microphone are a turn down, it reminded me of old school baby monitor from the 90s, you'll hardly be able to really have a 2 way conversation with it.The setup process was easy, I would have appreciate a guide to connect it to Google Home, it'll setup as any other device compatible with Google Home but still it could be hard for newcomer.Once connected to Google Home I was able to stream it's content on my Nest Hub.As any device connected to the Cloud, I was concerned about security, some further research show me they use AWS behind, which is normally pretty secure.If you have other SwitchBot devices and want an indoor camera, it will do great and fit with your ecosystem. If you don't have others devices from the same company and are not interested in their ecosystem, this camera will do well too, but other camera will also do the same works so it's up to you to find the best price.I have to mention their Android Apps, it works.. but really lack of polish. The good point is that software could be updated and improved, the have a good base, but I hope they will put more importance in it in the future.

I recently purchased this camera and it has stopped working, will not reset or connect to our wi-go. I would appreciate a replacement for this since I really do like the way it functioned before it went out.

I really like how small this camera is! It is Very little and can be placed anywhere (as long as you can plug it in.) The cord that comes with it is pretty long too so you wont need extensions or anything. Set up took literally 2 mins to get it going on the Switchbot app. The clarity of the image is VERY good and I have been using this both for day and night time viewing of my basement area.I also love how it integrates with all the other products from Switchbot that I own. The motion detection has been excellent so far as well. I know that if anything happens I can always contact switchbot as they have great support ( I own a few bots, meter, hub, and curtain). I highly recommend this company's products versus going with an unknown brand.

I am using Blink mini, XT2, and Kasa security cam.Among those, SwitchBot cam's delay was the smallest!From the camera to my phone, it is noticeably faster than others.Furthermore, I really like the timestamp in the recording.Support local storage, and stores only when motion is detected in addition to 24/7.I wanted this feature in Kasa but they only support 24/7 which will wear out my SD card.The UI provides easy change in recording resolution.Night vision works very well, I think it has many infrared sensors. 6~8 of them circling around the lens?Maybe I'll see the difference in certain situations but it worked as well as other products.Magnetic stand is also a good idea, Blink mini has it too.Finally, capturing photo was very easy with this. If this is used for babycam, I think it would be very useful.ConsTurning off/on takes some time (it says establishing encrypted channel) than other productsCannot fine-tune the motion detection area.. Blink is very good for this. Hope SwitchBot improve this in the future.But these are not enough for me to lower the stars...I'm happy with my purchase!

I use this one as a baby monitor and really love the camera quality and all it’s many functions. What I wish was better about the camera was the speaker. It seems to sounded muffled but it’s still nice that it has it.I definitely plan on getting more cameras. One camera I wish was available with SwitchBot was an outdoor security camera. I hope that soon that one will be available. I will be buying more these cameras soon.

Me decidí a probar la cámara indoor por esta razón y ha sido un todo aciertoLa instalación es muy sencilla y la integración con la app es perfectaHay multitud de funciones que te permiten controlar la cámara de forma muy adecuada. Puedes hablar y escuchar (bidireccional), grabar videos, hacer fotos de la escena que estás viendo y si lo deseas almacenar tus grabaciones en la tarjeta mini SD (no incluida) o en la nube (con plan de suscripción). Como no podía ser de otra forma, tiene detección de movimiento y puedes enmascarar la zona sobre la que deseas que actúe el detectorLa calidad de visionado, 1080p, es suficiente para el uso para la que está pensada y algo también muy útil es el zoom de 4x que tiene (no progresivo)Echo de menos algo más de calidad en el modo nocturno y la posibilidad de funcionar con batería, ya que no siempre es posible tener acceso a un enchufe en lugares donde sería muy útil ponerla

I ordered this camera for my girlfriend so she can keep an eye on her cats when she's staying at my place. The camera works great, it was very easy to set up, and the image quality is better than I expected. It has a magnetic foot and I stuck it to the fridge for the perfect view.Since I already have many SwitchBot products, I'm familiar with the app, and the installation of the camera in the app was also very simple and easy. It had an update during the first installation, but it updated quickly and without any fuss.The best features of this camera are its quality and the fact that it has a very good microphone and a very good speaker. You can hear everything that's going on at home clearly and you can use your phone's microphone to send a message to intruders (or cats that are on the couch when they're not allowed to be there).All in all, I think this is an excellent extension of my SwitchBot Smart Home products. I'll recommend this camera over an expensive one, as it has a superior image and sound quality.

Pour ma 5ème caméra de ce type pour la surveillance de mon domicile et je ne suis pas déçu de ces produits qui fonctionnent très bien. Belle qualité d'image tant de jour que de nuit. Installation est de la même simplicité que les caméras des autres marques. Il suffit de lui faire lire le QR Code généré par l'application.Là où Switchbot fait la différence, c'est en cas de problème. Ils sont super réactif. Ayant rencontré des soucis sur 2 cameras après quelques mois d'utilisation, je les ai contacté. Une vidéo envoyée pour qu'ils puissent appréhender la cause du trouble et 2 mails plus tard, décision d'échanger les produits. Franchement, c'est rare aujourd'hui de trouver des boites aussi réactive. Encore Merci à eux !!!!Je recommande vivement ces caméras !!!

I purchased the security camera in my home as an addition to my current security system and I have to say I'm pleased with this product and I have a positive experience with it so far. I've been using / testing other cameras as well, like Kasa or Tapo, but this one is the better one so far. The pros that I can mention are the following:- Easy to get started: quick and easy installation (unless you want to use the screws provided) with the 3M adhesive tapes or the magnet built inside- Great integration with Alexa, as you can use the camera for triggers, see the live stream within Alexa (vs. the Kasa or Tapo products which cannot be used in Alexa). Also great features in the native app as well in terms of automation or scenes and settings.- The camera is very quick, if you want to see the live stream, it takes no time (compared to Kasa or Tapo products, where you have to wait quite a few seconds while it loads).- Clear and high resolution video image- The support team is really good, very responsive and very helpful. They work with the dev team to solve any issue you may have (I had connectivity issues, but got firmware update from the team to fix it).Some cons:- The power cable could be longer as it limits the options where you can place it- It could be a killing camera if you could rotate it from the app (currently static)- It is somewhat integrated with Google Home app, but a better integration with it would be greatUltimately it's a great little product, much better than other similar cameras, like Kasa or Tapo.

Oltre al device (composto da indoor cam + Base), troviamo un piccolo ma ben scritto manuale di istruzioni, un adattato usb, un pacchettino di viti con fisher per l’ancoraggio a muro, 2 sticker ed un cavo micro usb da 2m. Non manca nulla e tutto si trova dove dovrebbe, ottimo.[ ESTETICA E QUALITA’ COSTRUTTIVA ] : 5/5Semplice, curatissima, squadrata e minimale. In una parola: moderna! Il colore Bianco si adatta allo stile di ormai tantissimi appartamenti. Le dimensioni sono davvero minime. Qualità costruttiva impeccabile: si percepisce dall’aggancio ( possibile in 2 punti differenti) tra la cam e la base e la stabilità della stessa. Tra l’altro, geniale l’inserimento di un magnete alla base, così da non dover bucare muri nel caso, come il mio, della presenza di oggetti magnetici su cui attaccare la cam.[ FUNZIONAMENTO ] : 5/5Grandangolo davvero molto efficace, fluidità eccellente, luminosità perfetta, ottimo funzionamento anche ad infrarossi in notturna, connessione all’hub istantanea e l’ audio bidirezionale, sebbene non perfetto come in qualasiasi altra cam in questa fascia di prezzo, resta assolutamente apprezzabile.Rende tutto perfetto Il software, che consente di visualizzare molte cam in contemporanea(4 sulla stessa schermata smartphone), visualizzare la singola ed avere screenshot dei movimenti rilevati oltre che fare piccole registrazioni.[ PREZZO ] : 5/5Rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero vantaggiosissimo. Non trovo sul mercato cam che, a parità di qualità, dotazione software ed ecosistema connesso, venga venduta ad un prezzo inferiore rispetto a questa indoor cam. Ho trovato, invece, cam decisamente inferiori vendute a prezzo più elevato.[ CONCLUSIONE ] : 5/5Cam piccola, moderna, dal funzionamento impeccabile e dal costo abbordabile. Se cercate qualcosa a meno, troverete solo prodotti che, per un misero risparmio, vi daranno noie che non giustificherebbero neanche un risparmio ben superiore. Promossa!
