Replaced late 1980’s Dawes Galaxy caliper brake wires and yokes, these did the trick.Good price for a hard to get product.

Essential for old bikes
If you have an old bike that uses this system then I'd recommend getting a set and changing the old ones. Now obsolete so alterative would be new brake caliper assembly - not cheap!
