6 Month Experience | Great Performance & Quality
I bought a brand new laptop and needed an extra 16gb of ram since 32gb is crucial for gaming and multitasking as I'm a developer. Corsair is a great company when it comes to ram, performance is great and matches the price of the product. Very easy to upgrade your laptop if you know how to open it, you just stick it in there put everything back in place and then turn on the laptop. That's it, no bios updating or changes, just instant ram once everything loads on your computer. Now for a more detail performance review, take note that ram isn't going to solve your performance problems all the time. It could be the CPU or GPU 60% of the time. But overall having many tabs opened and more than 3 other softwares opened at once running daily. The ram hasn't failed me at all, including when gaming I can have these other softwares running now since I have the extra ram available. Your PC or laptop needs to have ram to run windows or it's operating system and then all your software and gaming abilities. Hope this helps, remember to always account for CPU & GPU

In Vector 16 HX AI - Works Perfect
"Plug and Play" - literally for these. Maybe not "plug" so much as "take out 13 screws" after spending an hour searching for the driver, search another hour for the plastic pry tool, half an hour prying the laptop apart safely and finally removing the RAM cover. The laptop was a hassle but, the RAM was not. Once the old RAM was removed, this went right in. I also installed a second SSD at the time. Upon testing, it took a few reboots for the BIOS to sync up and everything worked fine. There's been a lot of questions on these computers handling more RAM due to the manufacturer listing only 64GB. I'm not sure why they did that. I think it may have been copy/paste from old marketing documents honestly. 96GB works fine and the chipset can actually handle more if the form-factor could. I haven't even updated the BIOS BTW. This is out of the box. Nice and fast. Memtest good. Expected speeds. As for value, I always have a hard time deciding with things like this. I feel they're all overpriced because they can be but I suppose relatively speaking, this was worth it. It got my laptop minimally acceptable. For my work, 96GB can get used fairly quick. Time to upgrade again! lol. Seriously though, 0 issues. I never have issues with Vengeance though. It's always worked out for me. Just make sure you're checking your form factor and speed primarily. Some boards are picky about timing. More importantly is if you're trying to overclock. These laptops like I have that do support 6400mhz require CSODIMM or CUSODIMM (I'm not familiar), not normal SODIMM. This does not apply to this RAM. I'm leaving this for if you're browsing or thinking of trying to overclock this. If you are going to try to OC this on an Arrowlake, don't!!! At least not to my understanding! You want the new CSODIMM for DDR5. DDR6 is another story. Don't you just love RAM? Make sure you know what you're buying because it often is not returnable once opened! Anyway, thank you seller. My laptop is now not bottlenecked.

Easy upgrade for my Dell Inspiron 16 5640 Laptop 16 > 32 GB upgrade
I have a Dell Inspiron 16 5640 Laptop that came with 16 GB of RAM, 2X 8 GB SODIMMS installed. I've always have very good results with Corsair hardware and memory. I verified the type of memory on the Dell website and ordered the 32GB upgrade which showed up the next day. Install was a snap, literally. Just a few screws and the back comes off. Installing the memory was very easy. I just swapped out the chips and put everything back together. No issues booting up everything is working fine. I'm not a gamer but I do a lot of photography editing and this helps running Photoshop and my other editing software. Very good bang for the buck.

Even Works with AMD CPU
When upgrading RAM, I usually try to go with sticks that are more designed for my PC, such as getting XMP RAM for Intel laptops as opposed to EXPO RAM that should work. Recently, I got a new laptop, which happens to be my first PC with an AMD CPU. When trying to find RAM for this new laptop, I wasn't able to find any SO-DIMM RAM with AMD EXPO profiles, so I defaulted to my trusted brand for RAM and hoped for the best. It took a bit of effort to make it work, but it works. During trial and error, I discovered that, at least for my particular laptop model, it needed to be plugged in before it would start up after installing RAM. When I started it up, it went through the usual process of configuring the new RAM. For some reason, possibly because it was rather cold (though it is constantly cold upon startup due to its metal frame), the screen did not turn on. I turned off the laptop using the power button, waited about 10 seconds, then turned it back on. I don't know if it made a difference, but as soon as I saw the disk usage light come on, I kept pressing delete until the screen powered on, which took several seconds. On the second startup after installing the RAM, I had to repeat this process. Now, though, it works without issue. In fact, it boots so much faster just by having more RAM that I often don't even see the Windows loading screen. I checked the memory frequency in BIOS and, since it's an ASUS laptop, I was able to check the memory speed in Armoury Crate as well. Both say the RAM is working as advertised at 4800 MHz. In addition to faster boot-up, I have the usual benefits of increasing RAM, like apps starting faster, more apps functioning at the same time without performance loss, rapid loading screens in games, etc. If you also have an AMD laptop, this Corsair SO-DIMM is worth trying even without the EXPO support.
