I give them a 4 because they will do what they say but if your looking for something heavy duty and high amps for a big machine this is not the one but for a 110 it will work fine.

The second picture is how you fix the loose cable connection to the welder. Grab some tin and some tin snips; wrap it around the connector, then place the rubber over the tin. Use pliers to form a tight hexagon around the connector before placing the rubber on top. Stephen @PnwMobileWelding taught how to stick weld one evening, before Shawn provided the welder from their stock of used Welders. He's a great teacher. ArkansasRiverGunAndPawn, previously provided a Forney Mig welder, but working on an pre-1980 fifth wheel trailer jack, I needed to stick weld for deep Penetration, versus the 125 Mig welder, rated for .25 steel. Plus, the jack legs are stainless steel, which represents challenges all their own. The cables were plenty long, as you can see, about 3 foot of cord longer on the stick holder than the ground clamp. I look to do some welding on the exhaust of my F-250 2011 tomorrow. I have to add a spark plug de-fouler, because it's running to rich, using too much fuel, due to issues with the catalytic converter. This ground clamp is not robust as my Mig ground clamp, but it is plenty equipped to finish the job. I just need to order some 6013 sticks.
