The Road to Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War - The Art of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Hardcover – May 1, 2018

Great book for fans of the mcu that want early artwork for these characters. This DOES NOT include anything from infinity war. This book is also mostly art. For every character there's maybe one full page worth of text. One the pictures for my reviews shows some of the paragraphs for iron man, that's probably about a third of the text that's dedicated to him. Ant-man is missing from this. Quite literally if you're looking for anything related to the events/costumes/character development in infinity war this is not the book you're looking for. Wait til the one in november is released. From the title of this one it should be obvious that it doesnt cover IW events but I'm sure there are those that think it'll touch on it, but it doesn't. This basically just shows how it went from comic books to final concept art for costumes.

nice compilation but I knock it for being about 90+% recycled art from previous 'Art of-' volumes...I don't think there are a lot of new images but that cover is awesome in and of itself...What is new are the interviews with the artistic designers for each character, and some notations on some of the artwork...so there is some incentive for completionists...

The book is mostly great to show off all sorts of concept art but I wished it had a little more to say about certain characters in the book. If there was more about design work I think this would be a better experience. However that being said just like the movie it balances the info mostly well.

its a good art book but not intended for the nerd who collects these. it 90% rehashed artwork.i preordered this book very early on before it it had the “road to...” title. i returned it bc it was redundant content for me. the real infinity war art book comes in novrmber.

This is a AWESOME book, it goes through the making of Infinity war, concept designs and more. The book is made of high quality materials and looks great on a shelf with other marvel collector things

I bought this for my son's birthday and he's very happy with it. The artwork is fabulous and the book itself seems very sturdy.

I’ve purchased the whole series of these books and have been pleased with all of these. This one is no exception. The book is beautifully designed and illustrated starting with the colourful slipcase. The slipcase is exactly the same size as the others in the series and illustrated on both front, spine and back.On taking the book from the slipcase you are presented with a beautifully bound hardbook featuring excellent illustrations of all your well known Marvel superheroes. I kept going back and forth on whether I wanted this book as well, and I can honestly say it's probably one of my favourite Marvel art books. I only have three others but still, each important character has several pages of character design in the book and it looks so wonderful. I often use books like this for art reference and it's going to be such a great help!

Such a beautiful book! A lot of information about the design process for each character through their evolution. Also nice to have concept art from the books which are no longer available such as the winter soldier. Overall a lovely book, and well worth the money.

Wie immer bin ich als sehr gespannt auf neue Artbooks. Sei es zu der Marvel oder DC Filmreihe.Leider bietet "The Road to Marvel's Avengers" allerdings nicht viel neues und somit bestätigt sich der Name auch in der Umsetzung:Wer Artbooks zu Age of Ultron, Black Panther, Spider-Man Homecoming etc hat, geht hier recht leer aus, denn viel neues bietet dieses Artbook leider nicht. Identische Seiten wie die zuvor genannten Titel.Dennoch Qualitativ sehr ansprechend.
