This is a great evening dress! I was looking at several burgundy dresses but the positive reviews convinced me to order this one. It is a very substantial fabric, the color is rich and it’s extremely flattering! I’m 5’4” 160# and ordered a large. The front ruffle and ruching at waist hide that tummy pooch we don’t like. The offset slit that opens to just above the knee gives just the right touch of sex appeal while still being classy. And with a little stretch, it is very comfortable. You can wear it all night and be fabulous! Don’t hesitate, ladies!

Bought this in both the navy and burgundy to compare, as I needed a guest dress to wear to a wedding; the burgundy ended up being the best color for me, but rest assured, both fit the same exact way. This dress is a dupe of a Betsy & Adam dress. It isn’t lined, but the B&A dress is only lined in the respect that their fabric has a backer (you can still see the inside seams though), so not much of a difference — and the price of this one is much less than the B&A. I was very pleased with the quality, and it looked good on. The fabric is thick enough that I did not need to wear a shaper, but you can if you want. I wore my regular bra with it just fine! Also, the length is great for petite women because the back touches the floor while the front is slightly raised/split to offer a glimpse of leg. For tall ladies, the back will be ankle length. Because of the split/raise in the front, both floor and ankle length works well for petite and tall women. I love that I did not need to get it hemmed; I’m 5’4” and wore 2.75 inch heels and it was perfect for me. While form fitting, it does not accentuate the stomach because of the twist and ruffle design on the front, which is wonderful. My only concern: the twist part starts high up on the bodice. I am long-waisted, and it would have looked better on me if that twist started a little lower under the bust and more mid-waist. Other than that, 5/5 stars.

After reading reviews, I have to say that I agree, this dress is a good value for the money. I am 5 foot 6 ,145 pounds, 36c and orded a medium. It fits snuggly and I can wear a 3 inch heel. my only complaint is that there is a seam built into the dress that lies over the right breast that cannot be smoothed down perfectly, but it is not too bad. The fabric is a stretchy polyester that hugs curves, the ruching tucks in just under the breast area, which works well for my high waist. The burgundy is a true burgundy.

I purchased this dress for a wedding and it is just perfect. The fit is true to size and the material has just the right amount of stretch for a perfect fit. I am sure I’ll get a lot of wear out if this dress because it’s appropriate for weddings, fundraisers and special events. I am a solid, fit girl at 5’5 and 193lbs and the size is perfect. A++

This is a beautiful well made dress. It is very comfortable and color is rich and vibrant. It falls really nicely on my Medium size frame. I am usually a medium but went up to a large because I am bustier on top. I ordered this dress for a labor day wedding but ended up returning it because I found something better suited for a summer wedding.

Bought this dress for a wedding this past weekend. Loved the rust color and fit; however, I noticed after the event that the fabric was worn on one side ( near hip area) to the point I can’t really wear the dress again. It was normal wear on the dress, such as, dancing and sitting at a table - nothing out of the ordinary. This was a one-time wear only. Too bad.

Gorgeous dress that is very flattering and comfortable to wear. Great quality material with a little bit of stretch. Love that you can wear a regular bra style with it. Perfect dress for a wedding or formal event.

First off, I gave it 4 stars because the dress I received has a snag in it. I don’t think I want to cut it as I am afraid it may make the fabric run and make a hole. I am also afraid to send it back because I may get another one that doesn’t fit as well as this one. If it didn’t have the snag it would be a 5 star dress. I have been searching and searching, looking for a dress for my youngest son’s wedding. I have bought two other very expensive dresses and they just haven’t worked out. I decided that I was overthinking the process and maybe something that was a single color and more plain would be better. I am so happy to finally say that I found the dress I will be wearing to the wedding.I am 5’3” and weigh 173. I wear a 38DDD bra. I ordered the extra large. It fits great. It is very comfortable, has some stretch to it but doesn’t hang. I think it is a dress that curvy women would love. I am self conscious about my stomach area so I love the ruching that helps to hide it. I think the v-neck also helps to disguise my large chest. I do have to figure out a lower bra or have under the arm area altered. The bra I tried on with it did show a little under the arm area and side of breast. Not bad but enough to bother me. Anyways I say go for it and order the dress.
