DAILY ACTIVITY ORGANIZER - 6 SHELF HANGING CLOSET - 11"x11"x48"

This is a great idea and has totally been a game changer for our mornings, but it is not sturdy enough to handle what I'd consider a minimal load. Our organizer is starting to warp at the top from the weight of the clothes in it. It really needs 2 hooks on the edges to better distribute the weight. The attached picture shows it fully loaded for the school week and how it is already warping.My son has to wear his PE clothes to school, and bring his uniform to change into after PE. He was always forgetting something, or asking me to help him with his stuff a zillion times in the morning, so I got this. The top 5 cubbies are filled with his PE uniform (shorts and t-shirt), socks, underwear, and his uniform pants and shirt in a ziploc bag. This doesn't seem like a lot of clothing, especially as the cubbies have a lot more space, but our organizer is already warping at the top after only a few months. I can see I'm going to have to replace it by the end of the school year, and I'll be careful to get one with two hooks next time.

I ordered this for the days of the week and the price. The previous reviews are correct--the bottoms of each cube, (other than the last one at the bottom), have no support and will cave in once any weight is put on them. What I did was cut out 10.5" x 10.5" squares of sturdy cardboard and covered each in some decorative scrapbook paper. This works really well. I also saw some reviewers mention that the hanger breaks, but I'll find a way around it if it happens with this one.In summary, I would only recommend buying this if you don't mind fixing it up a little.

my kids enjoy these. they are 3 and 5 and really feel empowered and important that they get to place their own clothes into the cubbies for the week ahead. for my older one it is an exercise in helping her brother decipher the day of the week, and for my son, it allows us to avoid his refusing to wear what I or dad pick out - he already knows what is in there is what he decided on Sunday would go there and he gets dressed all by himself.these are a lifesaver. I read other reviews state that one hanger in middle does not allow for stability - i did not find that to be true. my kids clothes are light so it does not make that much of a difference - we don't place jackets or shoes in them. the colors are vibrant as shown, the days of the week signs require straightening when you first open packaging and then they pretty much stay as shown. great product and I could not be happier. spot cleaning will be easy with this ( cardboard on bottom of each shelf so no machine wash) but I also cannot see it get very dirty either.

But most of my clothes are hung up so it really didn't make sense. HOWEVER, it does work great for my kid.... and for my husband dressing said child. I can look at the weather for the week on sunday night and get everything laid out so that when my husband is helping get the little man dressed for the day there is no guess work involved.I should note: not everyone's husband can dress themselves for any weather with appropriate layers and then some, yet thinks that it's okay for a child to go to daycare in zip up pjs... but for those that do have a husband similar to mine... this is for you.

I bought this for my preschool aged son so that he could start dressing himself and not having to worry about picking out outfits. He absolutely loves it and gets excited on Sundays to help me pick out his outfits for the week and put them in his organizer. I found that it saves time in the morning to just have him go to the organizer, pull out the outfit and put it on. Having each cubby labeled with the day of the week also helps them identify how each day is spelled for children that are learning to spell, etc. So far it hasn't sagged with a set of clothes in each cubby area which is nice. It was a little high up for my preschooler to reach the top couple cubbies so I added a couple links and hooked the organizer hook to it in order to lower it a bit. Overall, a great purchase!

Great idea, poor implementation. I got these for my kids to help us get organized for the week. I love that I can have them put an outfit in each cubby and not have to pick out clothing in the morning. These are the right size, but there are a couple things that would improve these. First, the bars in the front of each cubby seem to be made of cardboard and bend very easily. There should be something stronger in the material to keep the cubbies square. Second, it has only a single hanger at the top, which makes it twirl sometimes. Having a second hanger or a velcro tether to keep it from turning when kids are trying to get clothing out of it.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I have an almost 9 year old and a 5 year old. Instead of looking for clothes every morning or nightly before bed, on Sunday we look at the weather for the week get everything out and into its cubby and they wake up in the morning and get ready before even coming downstairs. There is room for pants, underwear, shirts, socks and shoes in each cubby. My daughter is in a few different activities (girl scouts, soccer, swim team, track etc..) there is room in the cubby for her practice clothes/Girl Scout uniform so she knows what day she has those activities and can get ready after school w/o the hassle of finding everything she needs. The pockets on the side are perfect for hats and gloves, library books etc...and I love that it spins around so it doesn't get twisted up like some sweater organizers do.Its also a great learning tool, my son uses it to figure out how many days are left in the week, how many days have already passed etc since its lists Mon-Fri on it.

I purchased 3 of these, one for each of my boys and one for my nephew. All 3 of these organizers have lost their form, the hanger has come off one of them making it useless, and the cardboard or whatever is inside to hold it's shape has broken down and they look terrible. My boys loved these and it made them feel more independent because they were able to grab their outfits for the day and dress themselves. They along with me are extremely disappointed in the crappy workmanship of this product. Save your money and head to Ikea. Attempted to contact seller with no response. Will not buy from this seller again.
