I decided to invest in the Fishing CamX underwater camera to take my fishing game to the next level. After a few outings with it, I've found that it has some solid features but also a few drawbacks. First, the good - the 1080HD camera quality is no joke. The wide-angle lens captures a surprising amount of detail, even in murky water. I've been able to spot fish that I would have definitely missed with my naked eye. The LED lights are also handy for night fishing, although they seem to attract more small baitfish than anything else. The build quality feels sturdy, and so far, it's held up well in both fresh and saltwater. I haven't had a chance to test the full 200m depth range, but it's handled everything I've thrown at it so far. Battery life is also decent, lasting a good couple of hours on a single charge. However, there are a few areas where this camera could improve. For one, the WiFi connectivity can be a bit finicky, especially when trying to use the live view feature. It's supposed to work above water, but I've had mixed results getting it to connect consistently. Another issue is that the motion sensing controls can be a little too sensitive at times. I've ended up with a lot of footage of empty water because the camera started recording every time a piece of debris floated by. It would be nice to have more control over the sensitivity settings. The included instructions also leave a lot to be desired. Some of the features weren't clearly explained, and I had to do some online research to figure out how to access certain settings. A more user-friendly manual would go a long way. Lastly, while the "fish fin" design is eye-catching, I'm not convinced it actually does much to attract fish. It seems more gimmicky than functional, in my opinion. Overall, the Fishing CamX is a capable underwater camera that has helped me up my fishing game. The video quality and durability are impressive, but the WiFi connectivity, motion controls, and instructions could use some refinement. I’ve already used it on my YouTube channel (Fishing Tackle Channel), and the footage came out surprisingly good. There are a lot of things I really like: • Completely sealed design — no ports, no openings, no exposed parts. This means zero worry about leaks or water damage. For something that’s constantly being dropped into saltwater, that’s a huge plus. • Simple drop-and-go setup — just attach it to your fishing rig and send it down. • Built-in memory and battery — no SD cards to lose, no removable parts to accidentally flood. That said, there are some things the next version needs to improve: Where It Falls Short • Shakes a lot underwater. I really wish there was an optional stability fin or weight attachment to keep the camera steadier. Strong current or even mild drift makes the video wobble more than I’d like. • No expandable memory. The internal memory is sealed, so you’re stuck with whatever capacity it ships with. • Battery is sealed too. You can’t swap batteries, and you can’t charge it with anything except the included wireless charger. If you’re on a long fishing trip and forget the dock, you’re out of luck. • Phone connection is slow. When you’re actively fishing, you don’t want to spend time messing with WiFi connections. It works, but it’s slower than I’d prefer. • No stand-alone record button. You must connect to your phone to manage recording, and it automatically starts recording once paired—which gets annoying. • Software needs refinement. The app is functional but feels like a first-generation release. More features and faster responsiveness would make the experience much smoother. Final Thoughts Despite the issues, the camera does record very well, and the footage quality is absolutely usable for fishing content. For a new product from a small business, it shows a lot of promise. With a few software updates and hardware refinements, it could easily become one of the best value underwater fishing cameras on the market. Would I buy it again if I lost mine? Maybe — I’d want to see whether they improved the app and added some stability features. But for now, it’s good enough that I’m still using it and getting great footage from it. Overall, a solid underwater camera with excellent potential and great value for the price.

The waterproof design feels durable and well-made. this is a great value for the price and a very useful tool for any fishing enthusiast.

not working, turn off system so bad, I got bad quality camera, please , dont buy it, you just will loose your money, camera not working... doesnt turning on. Save your nervous and money. Thank you

商品到着後に電源入れても黄色のランプがつかないので充電されてないのかと思い充電器にさしこむが 充電中のランプもつかない… とりあえず1時間程そのままにして再度電源立ち上げるも反応なし…ランプつかないだけか？と思い アプリからWiFi接続を試みるも自宅のWiFi以外検出されない… は？ 商品到着まで待たされて楽しみにしてたのに この結果はとても残念です。 そんなに安い商品じゃない訳だから出荷時に ちゃんと検品してないのか？ 初期不良で使いものにならないので 返品対応しますが次回は別の商品を 買うことにします。
