Bought for Work Travel
I have a lot of tech gear and sometimes I’m caught in the rain, and I worry my stuff will get soaked. Super portable and light, not ugly, could withstand some water but not sure I’d jump into the ocean with laptop inside 🙃.

Perfect for beach or kayaking
100% waterproof! Love that the straps are comfy and don’t dig into the skin. The only thing I would change is how deep the side pockets are, with cups being as big as they are nowadays the side pockets don’t hold up to carry those. But even with the side pocket issue still giving it a five star review. I would definitely buy this again.

GREAT WATERPROOF BAG!!!
Lately I'd been looking for a waterproof which was portable, comfortable and appealing to the eye as most of these bags don't really look very formal and I needed a good-looking and elegant one as I need to ride my motorcycle to go to work and I live in the rainiest country in the world, so I don't want my stuff wet in any stormy situation. It works really great and I've also tried it in a swimming pool and under heavy rain.. To me it's good-looking as it's wholly black. I loved it.

A Lesson in Efficiency!
I waited several months before reviewing this item because it is quite different from any backpack I've ever owned. My backpacks have always had myriad pockets, zippers, hooks, and other features. Alternately, the "Fitespot 20L Waterproof Dry Bag" has only one zipper and is a roll-top bag. And that took some "getting used to."This bag's primary attraction for me was that it is waterproof. I'd recently gotten caught in a rain storm, with no umbrella, and ended up with some soggy items in my bag. They weren't totally unprotected, but it was annoying to say the least. After reading a few reviews of how others had tested its waterproof capacity, I decided to try it for myself. Being much too lazy to drop the bag in a stream or even submerge it in my bathtub, I simply waited for the next rainstorm. The Fitespot 20L Waterproof Dry Bag definitely lived up to its name. The material also makes it especially easy to clean or sanitize. This bag does have an open, unsecured mesh pocket on each side, as well as a zipper running down the side opposite your back which provides a large pocket for either small or flat items. Needless to say, those pockets are not waterproof. Then, after about two months of happy use, I discovered that there are tiny elastic loops (soft "hooks") on the outside of the bag! I hadn't seen them because of both their size and color -- the bag is black and so are the loops. These elastic hooks facilitate hanging anything from your keys to your carabineers. This was a lovely surprise! Finally, the bag is a bit smaller than most of my other bags but because of it being a "roll-top," it still allows me to fit quite a bit of stuff in it anyway. Also, the material, though relatively thin, is quite tough. The manufacturers tout this bag as a "Lightweight Floating Dry Bag with Reflective Strips, Great for Kayaking, Water Parks, Camping, Rafting, Wild Fishing." As I do none of those water sports, I had to rely on others' reviews and "tests." All I can say is that the benefits to me have been that I've never again had to deal with soggy items in a backpack, and I've also learned how to travel lighter and "pack" more efficiently as a result. I now use my other bags primarily for storage and bug-out prep. I love this bag!Update: I neglected to mention, in my original review, that this bag is described as having "adjustable padded shoulder straps." Buyer beware! These straps are not "padded" by any stretch of the imagination. As I mentioned earlier, this bag taught me to "travel lighter," but on the few occasions when I've had to "stuff it" to the max (like yesterday), the straps dug into my shoulders resulting in significant neck and shoulder discomfort that would not have occurred had they been sufficiently "padded."

Does the job
Works well to keep water out. It rolls up easily for storage. You do need a bit of bulk inside to better shape the pack. If you just have a few things or just water bottles it's a bit awkward carrying.

Great for the beach
Perfect room for 3 adults after purchasing the sandproof microfiber towels that can be rolled up for travel.

Best decision ever!
It does its job and it does it well, what's more to say? I walk to work and this is a great little backpack for bringing my stuff back and forth (and it keeps my hands free in case I need an umbrella). This backpack is worth every penny. Fine, it doesn't have a thousand pockets, but I don't need that. I need a spot for my water bottle (check), for it to be a good size (check), one pocket for the smaller things (check), and for it to be waterproof for when I walk in the rain (check-check-check!). It also doesn't cost a hundred dollars.ONE THING THOUGH: the little pouch that is attached to the backpack? Yeah, I can already tell the string it's attached to is gonna snap within a few months. Not a big deal since I can just get a pouch for my small stuff, but that little bit of low quality feels out of place since everything else is good.
