I covered a window that was letting in too much heat. It is lightweight, easy to cut with scissors & easy to install with the included double-sided, sticky squares. Those squares are sticky. At first I thought this can not be the huge piece I ordered, delivered in a small bundle. it folded out to be huge. It's thin, easy to cut & it works to keep my summer cool. Great price point. I'd buy it all over again.

These are great for reducing energy usage/costs in the winter. I own a big, 200 year old house with windows that aren't perfectly sealed anymore in Wisconsin, sometimes our winters see temps of Minus 60 degrees (F), a few years ago my gas/electric bill was $480 for ONE month keeping the house around 62 degrees which blew my mind as our summer bill is usually around $120-$150 with 3 ACs going 24/7, plus 2 gaming PCs on for roughly 14 hours per day, plus lights and heat pads for my terrariums and fish; out of desperation I bought a bunch of these and stuffed them in the windows, with the next month being similar temps and our bill was lower by almost $200. Our windows are almost 5 feet tall and 23 inches wide so I just fold these in half, duct tape the halves together and slide them between the window glass and the outer storm window, they may not be pretty but they do a great job of keeping most of the house nice and warm while keeping the bills down, definitely worth the money you spend on these considering the monthly savings, my first year they all paid for themselves in just that 1 month.

I have used old reflective for years--- this is an up grade. first i finally did the inside of the garage door. easy job, cut and stuff. only one piece needed a little tape. I live in the PNW house faces east. (neighbor randomly cut down perfectly nice tree because men like to play with chainsaws---- ) garage now warmer --- will help with heat in the summer. the big problem was the front door. the storm door does not fit tight, front door does not fit tight. this is the hard to find width that fits!!!!! I use the sticky velcro tape , the shield goes up when its cold , or hot , or when the cold east wind is blowing---- like today. I use the old reflective shields in the windows, pull the insulated blinds down and the 25 year old house stays nice and warm for a house built by a cheapo builder in the PNW. now that the summers are warmer I use it to keep the house cool from the hot sun. this stuff is a miracle. the up stairs bedroom windows are also covered. I am very careful to air and dry the house out! to prevent mold. many people- ( my neighbors_) skip this step--- be sure to open your house and dry it well spring, summer and fall.
