WOPET 300° Dog Camera with Treat Dispenser, New 5G , WiFi Pet Camera Treat Tossing for Cats and Dogs, 1080P HD with Night Vision, 2-Way Audio for Monitoring Your Pet on Phone app

A couple years ago my brother bought my wife and I a Furbo brand camera, but it required a paid subscription to work, so it just sits in a box. When my daughter got her own apartment I searched for pet cams that do not require a paid subscrption and found this WOPET 300° Dog Camera with Treat Dispenser, buying it for her. It works great! She uses it for her cat. She can move the camera back and forth to watch her apartment while she's away, and when she has it dispense a cat treat the kitty comes running. It worked so well that I bought another for my mother in law so she can watch her dog.

Returned this item. Would not stay on wifi to operate with out my phone (where the app was) nearby.

At first I couldn't get the Android app to connect to the device. I looked at my router to see if I could see it and I could but it kept disappearing. I told my router to only connect to the device on the 2.4ghz band and it has worked fine ever since. The rotating could be a little faster with the arrows pointing in the direction of rotation. (The rotation arrows are not first person perspective.) The video quality is excellent even on the lowest setting. If you test the audio in the same room, you will get feedback which is a good indicator that the microphone is fairly sensitive and gives good remote performance. The treat holder is well sealed and the pups haven't tried to break in. (Don't fill it with them watching!) For treats, I use Blue Buffalo Bits Soft Dog Treats for Training. They are a good quality and fit perfectly. My dispenser is throwing two treats at a time of these. I have not been able to get the Alexa skill working with this device yet.

I loved my original Wopet treat dispenser with camera, but this newer version isn't nearly as good. It doesn't allow nighttime viewing/pictures and often disconnects from the Wifi for no apparent reason. I bought this new version only because the old Wopet model doesn't work with a 5GHz Wifi and my apartment building doesn't offer the 3GHz Wifi band.

I do not recommend this product. I purchased it so that I could see my cats and send them treats while away but every time I leave town, the unit is off line which renders it useless… Troubleshooting is worthless as well. I will return it.

I love this pet camera to watch my two small dogs when I am at work. The app works well and connected quickly. I love also how this one moves around to check out where the boys are. Great affordable pet camera.

I was very excited for this item, but after opening at Christmas, and trying for 4+ hours to try and connect it to the app…. Sending it back. Wouldn’t suggest anyone buy this product!
