The only bad things I can really write is, as others have mentions, it comes folded so there's a bunch of creases. I easily got rid of them by ironing them out but it still would've been nice no to have to do. At first I was lazy and just drapped it over my blinds. Just with that I was impressed with how little light came through. And that which did was dim enough not to cause issues. I finally got around to ironing it out and cutting it up. I once again was lazy and didn't try to be perfect. A little light still comes through but with the provided product, you could definitely get it down to zero light coming through if you really desire so. My phone screen at lowest light level produces more light than what is coming through to give you perspective on a lazy job. Didn't notice any funky smells and the provided Velcro is wider than it appears in the photos. It's definitely worth it to cut them smaller. And for those who regularly open or close their windows, you can take off part or all of the film and the Velcro half still stuck to the window can pass in-between the two windows. Quality was great, no issues, no holes. Very easy to install. Both sides are a satin black but one side is more flat while the other has a bit more woven fabric look. I got it half off but definitely worth it's full price. These black plastic window covers were easy to cut and light in weight. I was delighted that they came with a measuring tape and plenty of stick on velcro straps. They came with a reusable drawstring bag that I can store the window covers when I'm not using them. Brilliant! I only wish they were thicker

It's absolutely fantastic! It's exactly what I needed to keep the light out of my room; it blocks out all the light.

The sheet was very nicely packaged, however I was disappointed that there was only 1 sheet inside the bag. That was kind of misleading when ordering. The Velcro side holds great but the adhesive needs to be reinforced if using inside of your window.

This was a waste of my time and money. The quality of this so-called Curtain was a disgrace. When I applied the Velcro to the Curtain to the wall, it stayed, but not for long. Give it 2 mins tops, then it falls, and I had to do it again, over, and still, it would not stay, so I had to screw it down for it to stay. I would not buy this again, and I hope you don't buy it

When I first unwrapped these blackout curtains, I was impressed by how lightweight yet sturdy the fabric felt. After putting them up in a bedroom with large windows, I found they did an excellent job darkening the space, especially helpful for mid-day naps or night shift recovery. The fabric blocks out nearly all outside light, and once in place, the room feels almost pitch black. The strips stick well to smooth surfaces, but on slightly textured walls they can be a little tricky, and I noticed a faint line of light around the edges if they weren’t pressed down carefully. That’s the one drawback—it takes a bit of extra effort to get a perfect seal if you’re particular about complete darkness. Overall, this is a smart and affordable solution for anyone who needs temporary blackout coverage without committing to permanent fixtures. It’s ideal for renters, travelers, parents with nurseries, or even for setting up a home theater on a budget. The price feels fair considering the portability, ease of installation, and how effective it is once secured properly. If you want something permanent and flawless-looking, you may prefer traditional curtains, but for flexibility and value, this works very well.

We have also bought curtains, pull down shades, and this is still the most effective as keeping light out. I ended up cutting holes and using command hooks. When not in use I unhook one side and hide it behind my curtain.

I haven’t had a chance to install them yet, but I did test it by shining a flash light through it and it blocks out all light. The piece is big enough to cover both windows and comes with lots of Velcro strips. Will be perfect to fully darken my room since I work night shifts.

Makes it super dark but the velcro isnt the greatest. I had the velcro one and as well had tape all over.

I purchased one of these blackout curtains a few months ago and it was great. Came in a nice bag as others have shown and works great. Since I was happy with that product I went ahead and ordered another one. What I received the second time was very different. First, I noticed that it came in a different bag (just a cheap black fabric bag) and then I noticed the smell. It has a terrible smell, I don’t even know how to describe it but it’s very strong. I tried to air it out for a few weeks and it won’t go away. I cannot use this one. Started the return process but this seller is not responding to me so this has been a complete waste of money. Do not spend your money on this.
