Once I drank this, don't want anything else. There is something distinct in the taste that really suits me. By the way: (1) adding cream or half & half subdues that distinct taste I like... so I like it black... and (2) The "drip", in a sack (not pods), of same brand type is just missing something in the taste...  ]

Finally!! I have tried so many brands trying to find that delicious flavor. Now my search is over! Thank you. Amazing rich flavor!

Updated Review Using a Keurig K-Supreme Plus Coffee Maker.I recently upgraded my coffee machine and I noticed how it made my usual brands taste immensely better. Curious, I decided to try this with a brand that I previously had a less than stellar experience with, it's only fair. One of the major differences between this particular Keurig and my old Mueller is that you can adjust the strength setting on the Keurig so it gets a much longer brewing time. The Keurig also has five brewing streams intead of the usuall one, so coffee grounds get more saturated with water during the brewing process. This appears to make a huge difference in the final product. I always use bottled water in all my coffee makers, so hard water scale was not the problem.Taste: Chocolatey and robust. Well rounded and quite enjoyable.Because of this, I am upgrading my review from one to four stars. This is a brand that I will likely try again.Original Review Using a Mueller Ultimate Single Serve Coffee Maker:To the point, this was quite possibly the most revolting cup of coffee that I have ever had. Yes, worse than MRE, Army field coffee or convenience store coffee that has been sitting on the hot plate for four hours. I just finished up a taste test with five other dark/bold roast coffees and this one came in dead last.About the attached images: I noticed dark specks on the outside of some of the cups, I've never seen this before on a K-cup and I am not entirely sure what this is about. Cutting one open revealed no plastic disc like I saw in another review on this particular brand. The grounds looked normal and the proper amount.Taste: Sour, bitter, stale and flat.Aroma: Smells like regular FolgersColor: Normal for a dark roast.Background: I really love coffee! I've been drinking it since I was 6-years-old and nearly every day for the past 30 years. I've tried many different roasts, flavors, regions, multi-region blends and brands. I usually go with dark roasts and arabica as robusta has too much caffine for my needs.Folgers is a name that often brings up acute nostalgia for me. It was the brand that my grandparents drank as well as my very first cup of coffee. When I chose to purchase 1850 Black Gold, I was hoping that this would help me to relive some of those fond and comforting memories from my youth, but this fell far from achieving it. There's no best part of waking up with this garbage in my cup. The rest of the cups are going into the compost heap and I will not be buying this blend again.

The pod is full of great tasting coffee. I can run it twice in my Kuerig and get the perfect cup of coffee. Each k-cup has a lot of coffee in each one. I love this coffee.

I LOVE STRONG COFFEE AND THESE K-CUPS ARE PERFECT! I'VE ORDERED BOXES AND BOXES OF DIFFERENT K-CUPS AND WAS ALWAYS DISAPPOINTED IN THE FLAVORS. THE DESCRIPTIONS AND PACKAGING OF THESE K-CUPS MADE THEM APPEALING. MY COUSIN HAS A SUBSCRIPTION FOR THIS FOLDERS K-CUP AND I TASTED COFFEE SHE MADE AT HER HOUSE. SHE TOOK A REAL CHEF'S COURSE AND IS MAKES THE BEST FOOD OF EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY. IT WAS AN AMAZING CUP OF COFFEE AND EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. TASTE IS WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO ME AND I LOVE THE FOLGERS 1850 BLACK DARK ROAST COFFEE. AFTER TASTING THIS COFFEE I ORDERED TWO BOXES (60 IN A BOX) AND LOOK FORWARD TO MY BREAKFAST COFFEE. I AM GRATEFUL TO FIND A REALLY GOOD CUP OF COFFEE.
