I have like 52 plants but nothing like this. The key is to be patient. If you’re not patient, it’ll seem like the seeds will not grow, but it needs to be really sunny. I also left it in the window longer than it said without water due to not having much sun the first few days the three sunny days we did have they sprouted, just be patient my friend

I loved my system, unfortunately though my cat knocked it over and shattered the glass.

Who knew I needed a water feature on my dining room table? I have one now and I love it. The bowl itself is very attractive and then you fill it will water and once the plants take hold you have a really lovely centerpiece.

The kit itself? Wonderful. So cool, fun, and nice looking. It had all the parts, and they were so easy to set up.But! I couldn’t manage to grow anything lol oh well! We still used the terrarium, just for something else.

Since these kinds of little terrariums have become all the rage lately, and have become extremely popular, especially for those in small spaces, like college dorms, etc. I finally decided after being an avid aquarist for more than 8 years, that I would finally give it a shot at trying to build and maintain one of these things.✅ COMPLETE KIT: i really appreciate that everything you need to create the terrarium, as you see it in the pictures, is included in the box. everything from the substrate to the actual carpeting plant, is included. i did have to use some additional tools that i already had in my possession, but other than that, all the materials are there.✅ SOLID, CRYSTAL CLEAR, GLASS AND BASE: the craftsmanship of the glass jar as well as the base on which it is to sit upon gives this an overall, very elegant and minimalistic aesthetic. i can appreciate the attention to detail in make the glass fit snug and seamlessly on the base so the glass is leveled and stable, in the case that it is sitting upon a desk or small space. especially when filled with plants, it has that nice appearance between a tiny aquarium and terrarium.✅ NICE AND PRETTY ONCE FINISHED: even though i didn't take any pictures of it once i had the terrarium fully set up as the directions instruct and the carpeting plants were nearly fully grown and lush like in the picture, the results are indeed very beautiful. it's almost like look straight down into the bottom of a sunny lake and seeing the all the plant life under the water. however, once you reach that completion point, what do you do from there? the terrarium is too small to keep any fish in it, announce the plants are grown there isn't enough space above the plants and the opening of the jar for a fish to swim. there could maybe be shrimp, but even then, the jar is still to small sustain any real aquatic livestock.✅ VERSATILE: after the carpet plants had grown, i eventually grew bored with having to do consistent and regular water changes to keep the plants healthy. so i decided to break it down and do an over haul on it. from there, i went through several different stages and looks with different contents that i would just find outside of my house, in the yard, or at the creek in my neighborhood. everything i used, as pictured. is all natural and all stuff that i pulled from the outside. finally, i believe i reached a stage where im happy with it and how it looks (the last two pictures), and it's practically, north florida in a jar. lol.◼ OVERALL RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS ————————————————♡》》》 IN SUMMARY: even though, i do wish that the jar was just a bit larger and the kit included a lid or a way to close the terrarium, this is a wonderful and complete kit for beginners like myself. i really enjoyed setting it up and watching the development and growth of the plants. monitoring all the daily changes and doing the maintenance to keep it thriving. this is a great kit, and kids would really enjoy it and could also become inspired like i did, to continue evolving and eventually create a small landscape and system of their own liking. im really happy with it, and love that it's small enough to sit right on my desk without taking up a ton of space. ♡

It’s comes with exactly what you need to grow your terrarium. You’re instructed to put a piece of cling wrap over it to keep the moisture inside, but I think it should arrive with a glass top like a candy jar lid to keep the humidity inside. I accidentally spilled all of the seeds in the jar, my fault, but I put the plastic around it at work and it popped off overnight and dried up. I was very disappointed and have since just added an air plant. I may try it again because I really want another one.

This terrarium kit is unique. I was a little fearful about setting it up in my classroom, but once I did, I realized that it was nothing to worry about. The bowl is a reasonable size and is not overwhelming. I got it for my classroom and my students have been intrigued by the process so far. As soon as anything sprouts, students go CRAZY, which is always fun to witness!
