I have terrible nails that chip and I hate nail polishes- even clear. I use my hands a lot with art and gardening, so am hard on them. This product seems to help them chip less and grow longer and stronger if I use it faithfully (2x day). When I neglect using it for awhile, my nails start chipping again. Reconstrux is clear, odorless and subtle and can be applied sloppily on your cuticles too- and just soaks in, so you don't have to use polish remover. I can't really explain how the product works, but it does. My nails will never be gorgeous, but they've become almost pretty, and I've still kept them aka "natural". I've used it for several years and hope they don't stop making it. I especially recommend it if you are recovering from artificial nail removal.

Reconstrux is AMAZING. No matter what I have tried just didn't work. My nails were breaking and peeling horribly. I saw this and said one more to try, OMG it truly does what it says. My nails are beautiful, plus they're strong again. Thank you reconstrux developer's. I so wish I would have taken before pic so I could share the after.

I have had problem nails forever. I think I tried this in the 90's and didn't remember the name. I thought the bottle looked familiar so decided to try it. Very happy with this product. While my nails could still be a good case for a before picture they are so much better. My nail surface is dramatically improving and my nails don't snag and rip when they contact pretty much everything. I'm a customer for life. Great product.

i use multiple items so i’m not 100% sure if it’s the product that’s helping so much but i’m sure it’s helping in its own ways, but i can say MAKE SURE TO GRAB THE BOTTLE WHILE PULLING THE BRUSH OUT!! if you drop this, the entire product will pour out instantly. it’s super thin so it pours out like water

I have been looking for this product since I had to stop doing acrylic nails due to the cost. The last time I went to the salon was May of 2024 for fills. So after about 3 weeks after that appointment my acrylic nails were lifting and breaking off. I have tried many other products to actually help my nails grow but to no avail until I found this product that I had used before many years ago. Sally’s used to carry this product but not anymore. I really wish I had taken a before photo of my weak, brittle nails because you could have seen the before/after for yourself but I didn’t, sorry about that. I will tell you that before using this product my nails were super short and extremely thin and weak. You just apply the product to your nails and gently massage your nails which will help stimulate your nails to grow, also put some of the product under your free edge of your nails too. I know it’s not easy to do when they are short but it will help. I would recommend doing it at least twice a day and prior to going to bed at night. That’s what I did. And now my nails are so much stronger than they have ever been and about the same length that I used to get the acrylic nails too. And SO much better than they have ever been in many years. Give it a try, what have you got to lose??

EDIT: It's been a few months now, and for the first time in years, I have no hangnails, no peeling around the nail bed, and the ridges on my nails are visibly improved. New pix to show just how much things have changed, and I'm delighted. I'm 75, and my hands have been through a fair amount of injuries and "oops" moments. In the 80s, I had acrylic nails for a couple of years, and that was when the serious damage began. Until now, my nails were dry, I had vertical ridges on all but the smallest nails, constant hangnails, and cuticles that were cracked. Even with regular clipping, filing and buffing, moisturizing, and nail protection products, nothing seemed to help. I purchased a single bottle of Reconstrux on impulse probably a year or more ago, tried it a couple of times and then couldn't find it. It showed up again as I was sorting out the linen closet, so thought I'd give it another shot. After a couple of weeks I realized that nails that had been splitting as soon as they passed the nail bed had stopped catching on things. Now I'm seeing a reduction in the ridges, the cuticles aren't drying out, I haven't had a hangnail for a couple of weeks, and for the first time in decades I'm happy with the way my nails look and feel. After perhaps 6 weeks of use it gives me hope that the improvements will continue. And that's why I bought the 2-pack - I know I'll be using it from now on! PS - Sorry I didn't think to take a "before" picture so you could really see the improvements. But if they look like this now, you can probably imagine how bad it used to be.

This product is very good. It’s an oil so be careful with your eyes and clothes. It will absorb into your nails. So, be patient. My nails grow so fast. They’re healthier than they have ever been in a long time. I don’t use acrylic nails. I highly recommend using this a instructed . 2-3 times a day is my choice.

It takes a while, of course to grow out some of the damaged tips, but my nails are getting so much better. They were badly ridged, mostly due to old age and not hydrating enough. But the edges that kept peeling and splitting are definitely becoming stronger! That means they're getting longer at last.

Works ok, think it is marginally better than nail oil but wouldn't say I was totally amazed by it either.

Have been using this now for a couple of weeks and my nails are already grown and are stronger. Definitely recommend this product for weak nails that have been damaged from acrylic nails.
