Amazing revamping on a budget…
For years, the cement floor of my living room had simply been painted on with masonry paint and it was now peeled, cracked, dust stuck to it despite hoovering and it had ugly, dark dirt marks. In a few words, it was truly awful and had become so disgusting that I was embarrassed every time I had visitors. The thing is, as it is a quite large room, the floor people had quoted me £££ to put underlay and the cheapest vinyl so, I just put rugs to try to disguise the disaster (which didn’t really work).I looked at these tiles many times on Amazon. I really wanted to try them but I was hesitant because of mixed reviews indicating poor adhesion and flimsiness, until the time I read a review by a customer mentioning they laid the self adhesive tiles on their kitchen concrete floor and they were stayed put, even when they had a flood.I choose these yellow marble tiles. When they arrived, I moped the concrete, let it dry and with a friend, it only took us 3 hours and 300 tiles to do the whole room. I peeled the back of the tiles while she put them down. From the photos, you can see the amazing transformation. The only little hiccup is that, as the concrete is uneven, you can see some little bumps here and there but I don’t care. My floor looks so clean.I added an IKEA rug for the finishing touch and when my daughter came back from college, she joked that she thought she was in someone else’s living room.I would say, yes, they are cheap tiles but as long as you don’t drag furniture across the room, they are quite sturdy. They also have a strong grip. I did buy some spray glue just in case but we only used it on approximately 10 tiles out of 300.The tiles can also be cut easily to fit in corners.I have no hesitation in recommending them.I bought 6 packs of 54 tiles at £18.99 each (total of £113.94) and used 300 tiles. I have 24 tiles left which can be used as replacement if need be. The living room is quite wide as it is designed for a wheelchair user.My thanks to the lady who left the review about her concrete kitchen floor. So, it is my turn to tell you that these tiles are more than good enough and that a room makeover doesn’t need to break the bank. And they will stick on any floor.Note: someone mentioned they are slippery. It depends on your footwear. I am usually barefoot so, I didn’t experience the slipping but one of my boys did because of nylon socks. No worries, it is only due to some coating material on the tiles and after a few days and a good mopping ( but please, make sure your mop is as dry as possible), the slippery feeling goes.

Much nicer than the pictures
Please note - the uploaded picture is when I first started, and hasn't been 'grouted' yet. We bought these for our teenage daughter's room, which is 20sqm, so expensive to get floor coverings for (she has the biggest room in the house). The tiles are actually really nice quality and much better than all the ones we looked at in other well known 'bargain stores' - they're also a lot cheaper! The sticky on the back is really good, but I decided to make it a bit more long-lasting by also using floor adhesive (mapei eco ultrabond, which is flexible, water-based and about £30 a tub). I also decided to do it with 'grout joints', so bought grey silicone as it's very flexible (£9 a tube). We had already boarded the floor in cheapo plywood, as it was less expensive and more practical than replacing the old and damaged floorboards. The pattern is really good as you can mix and match - there's nothing needed to follow a set design and you can easily do it yourself. In total, it's cost me £80 for the tiles and £80 for the silicone and adhesive, so £160, which works out at £8 a square meter fully fitted, and it looks amazing. If I'd just stuck them down without spacers or grout, it would have cost £4 a square metre, and it still would have looked good. I'd definitely recommend these and I'm really happy with them.

10/10 easiest and cheapest floor solution
Cheapest option on the market after doing my research, honestly really pleased with these floor tiles. Have applied them in both my kitchen and bathroom, took no time at all, easy application and durable. Perfect solution for floors on a budget.

Quite upset!
The product itself is amazing, really sticky and strong, but I ordered the grey marble and they sent me yellow marble, I had already removed my carpet the day before it was due to be delivered and have a 2 year old on a stone floor, so I have had no choice but to lay the tiles because I can’t wait however long it would take to sort a refund out and new tiles sent, but now my floor doesn’t match any of my furniture!! I’m really really disappointed :(
