Works great
Filters great, pond is clear, it's easy to clean. The uv lights didn't last long, changed it out no big deal.

great value
This is the best pond filter I have purchased out of 5 others. This came with an extra UV light, clamps, all the fittings and even a screwdriver. Be sure to take the covering off of the UV light. This pump cost less than a different one by the same company I purchased two months ago. The UV light already burned out on the other one. I am thinking of getting another one of these to have for backup.

Total disaster
I was looking forward so much to adding a filter to my small goldfish pond and the specs on this one sounded perfect. HOWEVER, the instructions were inadequate, sometimes not making a bit of sense; the fittings were not accurate for the one-inch hoses I had to purchase separately, and were SO TIGHT and not long enough, it took my strong husband several attempts to finally get them connected. There were only two screws in the top where the light housing was supposed to be sealed, but four were needed, so we got two more screws. We never were able to open the canister, but the first time we connected it to a pump, it leaked out the top even though the four screws were tightened as much as possible. Assembly was a total nightmare. I consulted with Amazon customer service via chat and they have arranged for UPS to pick up the filter at our house for return and full refund. Great support from Amazon, but a huge disappointment. We had to undo the work we spent three days doing so we could pack it up for return. It’s the worst product experience I have ever had. If zero stars was an option, that would be my rating. Don’t waste your time and money on this filter.

A Good filter, finally!
The media could not be loaded. I've had fish ponds for decades, and as they've become more popular, the filter equipment has gotten better and better. There are a few of the "same design" filter here, but this Vevor filter finally came out as the one that works (as opposed to other brands.) After another brand kept blowing the UV lamp (necessary for algae control) I took the head apart and found the ballast was wired to neutral instead of Line, as clearly indicated on the ballast. So while that worked for a while, it blew in a couple weeks. Replaced twice, even rewired it didn't last a month. So I tried Vevor's model - and wouldn't you know it blew too!! Theirs was wired correctly (with more advanced electronics in the head), so I figured this was a fluke. They replaced it promptly (through their ticket system) and it's been working for over a month now, so I think I finally have a good one! Their great customer service, plus a correct electrical design, makes this model stand out over other 'identical' models!I have a few Vevor tools and motors now, and they are all great! Fingers crossed for my fishies on this one.Specs: pond is 600gal, pump sized for this filter's max clears over twice gal/hr. With copious rain and barley straw extract occasionally, occasional net leaf and debris removal, built-in backwashing filter elements @3-4 months, this keeps pond crystal clear! Backwashing produces a good amount of algae, so that works to keep filters clean; when I've taken the filter apart the foam elements aren't even that dirty, certainly not plugged and the button has never popped up indicating high pressure. Easy maintenance.

Great product. Easy to assemble
Easy to assemble and hook up to the small pump I use for my little duck pond. Considering ducks are slobs this works well.

Great filter
I am pleased with the operation of this filter. The light is easy to be seen and it has started to clean up my water in my pond.

Does not work
Hi your products don’t work like you guys say it should work first of all I have about 50 koi’s about 12 inches long and I drain 3 buckets in morning and 3 in the afternoon and it still doesn’t clean the water and i and up loosing fish after a few weeks of using your products I bought five fillers tubs from you guys and I have the same problem with all of them I and up putting a sieve in front of the water out line and most of pup stays in the sieve I don’t recommend buying this product to anyone what a waist of money and time the only good thing that works good is the UV light

Works great for a small duck pond
I was just using a pond pump to feed a waterfall with filter material in it. It was not keeping up with two ducks and the filter material would clog every other day, leading to a swampy mud hole rather than a pond. I installed this filter between the pump and the waterfall and now the pond has clear water. I simply switch this to cleaning mode twice a week, turn the handle a few times, and pump out the waste from the filter into a bucket I can throw on the garden. Once the water runs clear, you switch it back to feeding into the pond and it's all done. We're talking maybe 20 minutes a week of maintenance. So far so good. I hope it lasts because so far I love it and I'm adding more ducks soon. The water looks ruddy in the picture because the ducks have covered the bottom of the pond liner with red clay.
