As a professional plumber This unit is my go to for people who want their water to taste better. The cartridge is so east to change out and it takes up very little space under the sink.

install was not difficult, but had to run to store to buy longer tubing as the one supplied with the unit was a foot short, improved taste of water for instant hot water unit.

Make sure it's the product you need. But works great as long as it's compatible with your hot water heater . Filters well and should be changed every 6 months.

A kitchen designer suggested installing an Instahot with my kitchen renovation to elevate my kitchen. I bought a hot & cold dispenser & added this filter. Now I can easily & quickly fill my 40 oz. water bottle with cold, filtered water. I can use the in-door refrigerator water dispenser for this purpose but my 40 oz tumbler doesn't fit & it takes forever to fill it. I love having filtered water at my kitchen sink.

I’ve had insinkerator instant heater for a while. It’s great but the water taste was off. I googled and somewhere found that filter would help. And O boy I could feel the instant difference and I love it. I was able to install it myself. It did take me few hours and a trip to Home Depot- but I’m not a diy person. I’m pretty sure someone who’s handy could do it in minutes. Anyways I’m so happy that I can finally enjoy my warm water, tea and coffee.

The system works well and was relatively straightforward to install. My only complaint is that there is a slight leak that comes from where the filter goes into the system. If there was going to be a leak I would have thought that it would come from a water line connection as opposed to an area that doesn’t involve any of the installation process. The leak is minor (a couple of drops an hour), but I am reaching out to Amazon for a replacement. The replacement arrived quickly and I was able to determine that it was the initial filter cartridge that was the problem. All of the remaining parts are working perfectly so this was a quick and easy fix. Considering that the filter cartridge is the most expensive part of the system this is a little disconcerting that the first one was defective but hopefully it is not indicative of quality issues going forward.

Filter works well. Already bought a second one for replacement. A bit expensive though.
