This is an extremely detailed yet very simple version of Optimus Prime. It’s clear the model is based of the 86 movie though technically this is the 40th anniversary of the character. High quality plastic and diecast parts that are very easy to put together. Articulation is great, no hard ratchets however the tension is pretty strong in the knees, slightly less in the elbow joints. One gripe for me is the hands. The index has a base pin and secondary while the remaining fingers are on a single pin. Not very articulate and does not hold the gun well. I haven’t tried the light function but will as soon as I get the battery, CR927. Figure is close to 8” tall and comes with a stand, rifle, battle axe and extra autobot logo. For the price, this is an awesome figure, painted with weathering effects. Excellent for any transformers and Prime collector!

Excellent product I can't even begin to explain how great it looks in my display cabinet. I have seen many overpriced premium Optimus Prime figures most of which are bought my scalpers and resold making it impossible for fans to buy one and this rivals any figure from Threezero and Takara Tomy etc.. only it is available and an affordable price. Easy to assemble.

Aesthetically speaking, this is about as good as it’s going to get on an Optimus prime model. Especially at the price point. For people who don’t mind not being able to transform it into vehicle mode, you will love this model. It is very articulable, and also has enough weight to it to lend itself to long-term durability. It also has very great details in the paint and intentional weathering. The LED light up eyes are also a very nice touch. I’m very pleased with this purchase. The only minor point I could take away on this overall is that it does not come with batteries. But that is a minor nitpick.

This is a premier Optimus Prime figurine. He doesn't transform, but he's incredibly articulated, made from premium quality materials and all the sculpt are incredible. Is there a better figure than this? Maybe? But it's probably $250+. If you're curious, it's in scale with the current Studio Series 86 figures.

Beautiful figure of Optimus. Well worth the money.

I really like this. It is actually impressive especially for the price. It has weight to it and just feels very solid. It is also quite pose-able. The artificial wear on the paint job is great adding to the look. It looks just like Optimus from the 80's which is definitely what I wanted. The light function of the eyes works well and are the correct color. Another nice thing is that it doesn't just really on the hand grip to hold his weapon, it has a little slot on the handle that fits snuggly into the palm. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the stand. I might need to experiment more but so far it seems a bit useless. The actual figure is great and I have already ordered Megatron! : )

Great figure and feels durable. If you love Optimus then you cant go wrong with this.

Figure is amazing but fingers are fragile that it broke when trying to pose it as fist. Also only thumb and index is movable while the other fingers are attached together and not independently movable.

Its a solid build even if its a model kit. I wasnt expecting it to be robust and sturdy but it exceeds my expectation when it comes to model kit! The paint job is on point and articulation is 10/10! I had fun playing with it, it was a masterpiece!

YoloPark has been killing it with these model kits. Mix of die cast and plastic. Only gripe is the stand as it can barely hold Prime in place. Luckily I had more durable stand that can handle the weight. Overall it’s a great kit and very easy to put together.

Did a lot of looking around for an Optimus for my collection. Even considered a 3D printer build. There may be better models, at higher prices…but I wanted the original (80s cartoon) version with the big gun. This has both metal and plastic parts. Feels heavy and solid. Very articulate, although the legs seem stiff, and the hands have a hard time holding the gun. His knee plate is loose and occasionally falls off. Some ball joints seemed small and I was worried they’d break off, but they popped together fine. The flashing eyes require a battery in the head…not the best use….id rather hear a recording of his voice. Obviously, it can’t ‘transform’ into truck mode, but it’s not that important. Overall…a good, solid model.
