Good quality travel cot with plenty of useful extras
I bought this to use as a full time cot as we are moving in a few months and I didn't want to disassemble and reassemble a wooden cot. I was attracted to the cool 'tee-pee' design and also the fact that this cot can be used as a play space and for older, standing babies too. I was a little nervous on getting a product I had never seen in real life before, but I have been really impressed with the sleepspace! It comes in a modern looking travel bag and everything is made out of good quality materials. The bag is the right size and the cot folds right down so there's no wrestling the cot into the bag when you want to take it away. It feels nice and sturdy and all the hinges and zips move smoothly. It's extremely easy to put up. Taking it down has a little bit of a knack to it, but once you've got it you can do it one handed just as the adverts say. Likewise getting your baby in and out from the top or the zip door at the bottom is a bit odd the first few times due to the shape but you soon get the hang of it and wonder what you ever found so difficult. The bottom entrance also means you can kneel down to get your baby in and out, rather than having to lean over the sides of the cot and strain your back. The cot has an option to convert to a teepee as well which is a lovely touch so you get added use out of it. Sometimes if we are at relative's not so baby-proof houses, I partially collapse it to take it from the bedroom into the living room. It can provide a nice play space for my baby as well as blocking off areas of the room which are too dangerous. I haven't used the mosquito net just yet but it's a nice extra. One thing which is great is that the cot is all mesh on the inside, so there's nothing for your baby to bang against (though you will definitely trip over it in the first week before you get used to the space it takes up). This is great when your baby likes a bit of sleep crawling. My baby tends to get up, crawl into the mesh wall and then fall down again, already asleep. Luckily there is nothing for her to bang against so I don't have to worry about her getting hurt. I often read about mothers struggling with this baby sleep crawling and bumping their heads on the sides of the cot, so this is a good solution. My baby has been using the SleepSpace from six months and is now a year. The only downside is this is a fairly pricey cot so you would want to get your money's worth. As we use it as a full time cot, and take it with us when we visit family and friends at least once a month, it's very convenient. If you were only using it as a travel cot it might be worth keeping it set up as a tee-pee the rest of the time to get further use out of it.All in all, parenting is difficult enough so any product which lightens the load is more than welcome and I'm looking forward to any other products BabyHub comes out with in the future.

Flawed design and terrible plastic smell
3 issues1. Plastic smell from top of cot was horrific....smelt like being on a cow farm...didn't get better even after airing it out/wiping it. Would not recommend you allow your baby/toddler to sleep in this smelly/toxic environment.2. Product sent appeared to be second hand with afew scratched along the 4 poles - NOT NEW!3. None of the previous reviews/youtube videos on this product reports on the fundamental design flaw of this product in that its narrow entrance from the top and narrow and noisy side panel entrance are not suitable for parents trying to put down their sleeping baby/toddler to sleep. The side panel zips just wakes up the baby even of you manage to put the baby onto the mat without disturbing him/her.Overall avoid!

Definitely had a previous owner
While the product itself is well made, functional & spacious, it clearly feels like it has had a previous owner. It has a few marks from grease, oil or something similar dotted about it.Covers had been opened & shoved back into their packets.Inside of the carry bag looks well used, has a layer of dust like it's sat in a garage for a while.Box had been resealedAll in all the product is sound, the seller? Not so much. We wouldn't of minded if we had been told it was second hand but as we weren't it gets 2 star.

Disappointing
Disappointing product. Came without the teepee. Assembly was easy but it too ages to disassemble because of the poles that stick out on top. Also, the entire cot was wobbly when assembled on a flat surface. Didn’t lieFlush against the floor. Had to return toAmazon . The price definitely doesn’t justify the product. Also the mosquito net is just a flimsy piece of material. Not suitable for travelling as feels heavier than the advertised 6.5 kg and comes in a big bulky travel bag

Would not buy again
This cot did not live up to expectations after reading good reviews and seeing it had won several awards. The cot in the bag once packed away is very large compared to other travel cots so not that easy for travelling on flights, trains etc. The mattress is nice and comfortable and baby has slept very well in the cot, however it is difficult to get her in and out with the metal poles in the way. The zip window is also in the wrong place, should be on the side to enable putting the sleeping baby in easily. The cot is quite difficult to put up and down and after only one holiday the joints are sticking and poles not moving up an down easily either. Do not feel this cot will last very well with regular use. If I could choose again I would definitely buy the BabyBjorn travel cot instead which my sister has, easier to assemble, smaller for travelling and more space for putting baby in and out.

Item damaged
The net of the bed came with a hole in it. As we were leaving for the Christmas holidays, we did not have time to return this item. It is very disappointing.

Best Sleepspace/travel cot/play Tepee
Love this Sleepspace, we love it so much we have two! We love that it moves around easily, it collapses easily and is lightweight! The children sleep very well in it and are safe sleeping inside, with the net there is nothing for them to bump into and it’s breathable so nothing to worry about. We have two sleepspaces because the children love the Tepee, they love hiding inside and use it as a quiet place to sit and read their books or play away from the noise!Great product! Highly recommend! 👍
