I recently picked up this ACC Dash Cam Hardwire Kit to improve the setup of my dash cam system, and I have to say, it’s one of those upgrades that just makes everything cleaner, more professional, and easier to manage. If you’re tired of having trailing wires across your dashboard or constantly plugging your dash cam into the cigarette lighter socket, this is the way to go. The kit includes all the essentials: the main hardwire cable, multiple fuse taps (for mini, micro, and standard fuses), and built-in low-voltage protection — which is a major bonus for preserving your car’s battery health. There’s also clear labelling on the wires, and the length of the cable is generous enough for routing neatly behind the trim in most cars, including larger vehicles or vans. One of the standout features is the ACC (Accessory) wire integration. This means the dash cam powers on automatically when the car is started and powers down when the ignition is off, avoiding unnecessary battery drain. Installation was relatively straightforward — I’ve done a bit of DIY before, but I wouldn’t say I’m an expert. If I had one suggestion, it would be great to include a small inline fuse holder for added safety, although with proper fuse tap placement, it’s not strictly necessary. An excellent kit complete with all the pieces you require if like myself, you don’t want to plug your Dashcam in to the 12v socket. After watching a short tutorial on YouTube covering my vehicle (2013 Ford Fiesta) I located the correct fuse, chose the supplied connector and installed the wiring in 15 minutes. All extremely easy to complete and I’m not an auto electrician… An excellent purchase.

Good kit, easy to install and comes with many fuse connectors. Slightly too short for my car due to the fuse box being placed in the boot (BMW 1 series) so I was unable to fully hide the wires in the back.

Very good kit and easy to use with plenty of adaptors as required depending on your fuse size. I had issue with getting it in due to the wire coming out from the side but that was car issue rather than the kit. I eventually found a spare slot that worked and so the fuse tap fitted into the tight area. Important to get a good clean ground connection I found for the dashcam using this kit

Perfect and easy to fit

This kit comes with just one positive lead, but many dash cams require two, one for ACC and one for Battery positive. We wired up to an ACC only, to ensure the battery will not drain when ignition is off. Kit was delivered on time as as per the picture. Helpful to have the additional leads to facilitate different fuse boxes.

WOW! You can tell its quality straight out of the packaging, it feels like its the sort of thing that would come with the dashcam in the box. I bought this item to replace this item https://amzn.eu/d/05GoUEr9 which was crap! Wires were low quality and connectors broke off the wires (after it was fitted 🤬), electronic module box fell apart (while fitting (taped it back together)) and then went faulty supplying power all the time (ignition controlled and constant 12v supply) dashcam wouldn't turn off! Not the sort of thing you want to be fitting taking dashboard to bits to fit. NOW this one is miles better and so ill fit it with confidence now. Plus it was on offer at £15.36 bargain!

It comes with everything you need. Can't beat the price! I found out recently that this does not work with newer vehicles that have smart charging. The vehicle voltage regularly drops below the 11.6 cutoff voltage and turns the dash cam off. Still a good buy for older vehicles.

This wiring harness is OK but it is not from all dash cams. I bought it thinking that it could extend from my rear outlet to the front windshield which it does. It’s just for a micro US C port the cam I have is for a US C. but due to the fact that I needed other things that use the wiring harness, I was able to cannibalize the leftover parts they gave for the fuse box to use it for that, and it works very well. Just make sure that you check to see which connection ports is on the dash camera use or otherwise this is useless.
