Great tv
The tv is amazing it's worth every penny, I wasn't sure at first as it was mini led or oled but the picture is great and very bright. The built in ambilight adds so much to the viewing experience and makes the tv feel bigger. The 144hz is great for gaming and is very smooth when connected to a capable hdmi cable. For £400 I'd highly recommend it! It's very easy to setup out of the box and has a good sound, the remote has all the apps that you'd use. 10/10 tv for the price.

Great TV for both movies and gaming
UPDATE: You must disable VRR if you experience ghosting in darker scenes when playing games, it seems to be an issue with the panel and display. Keep that in mind, but once turned off it’s completely fine and perfectly usable.——As someone who researches a lot whenever I buy basically anything, I can confirm that this TV will exceed your expectations - especially with that price. Picture quality is SUPERB. Black blacks, bright whites, and all the new features you could think of. It has HDMI 2.1 and comes with a fully compatible 144hz display, supporting both FreeSync and HDMI 2.1’s VRR — both on PC and console. Picture quality is really good, and the ambilight makes it that much better for immersion. It works surprisingly well for both gaming and movies.Regarding the OS, it’s good but some settings are oddly named and thus unclear compared to other manufacturers. For instance, there is no setting named brightness as one would expect, instead it’s renamed as contrast (which isn’t the actual contrast setting, as that goes to a different setting instead). It’s quite odd. I haven’t used the TV apps as I mainly used this for gaming and movies through the PS5, but from what I have used it was quick and responsive.I fully recommend this TV especially at the sale price (I got the 43” for around £400).

Absolutely Terrible for Gaming!
If you’re looking for a TV for gaming, stay FAR AWAY from the Philips Ambilight The One 43PUS8909. I regret buying this TV, especially as a PlayStation 5 user.• 120Hz? Basically useless. The TV claims to support it, but in reality, it barely works properly. The experience is choppy, and it doesn’t feel smooth at all.• VRR? A joke. Turning it on completely ruins the image, introducing a horrible greenish blur every time you move the camera in games. It’s distracting and makes fast-paced gaming unplayable.• HDR? Might as well forget about it. HDR on this TV is dim, washed out, and completely unimpressive. Games that should look stunning feel dull and lifeless.• Ambilight? Sure, it looks cool at first, but trust me, no amount of flashy lights can make up for the terrible gaming performance.I bought this TV hoping it would be a solid gaming display, but it’s been nothing but disappointment after disappointment. If you’re planning to game in 120Hz, with VRR and HDR enabled, forget about it. You’ll be stuck with blurry, laggy, and frustrating gameplay.Save yourself the headache and buy literally anything else if you’re a gamer. This TV is not worth it.

Great TV with good specs for the price
I'll start with the bad bits on the TV 1st.The stand it comes with creaking like mad when you move it the TV seems unstable onit because it moves alot when you touch it. It does move side to side on the stand for viewing but should not be that sound when moving it.The 2nd is more for gaming well more so when playing FC25 the screen does show like a shadow when moving on the screen i believe its the lights behind the panel doing this. I did have this with a previous TV that did the same. I only really noticed this when playing FC25 though on this TV not other games.Just wanna be honest unlike some that don't find find any issues. Now for the good parts, the picture quality is great with nice colours and not to over the top. Out of the box the settings are good just to bright on the "backlight contrast" would drop that to around 85, same for the Ambilight that to needs dropping down way to bright 🌞 out of the box settings. Films look fantastic 4k/blu ray because of the picture settings it has etc.Are you gonna get a TV with the specs this has for less cash not really, this has better picture settings and great game mode for gaming than other TVs for a much higher price. Would I recommend yes when it's on offer as long as the parts above you can live with.

Breathtaking Viewing & Gaming Experience
Got this Ambilight TV over the cheaper models specifically for its gaming ability. It delivers. The picture quality is stunning even when running 140hz Xbox games. I’ve heard complaints about Titan OS but for me it’s been quite fast and responsive. Plus, I don’t use many other TV apps anyway and it has all the preinstalled once I need. Sound is amazing, I have it mounted on a wall and I am very happy with it.It also supports VRR for gaming which is a godsend, and I mean everything just works and looks amazing. Ambilight is something I’ve always wanted and I don’t think I’ll be able to go without it again! All in all, great value when you compare similar TVs in this price range that lack Ambilight and VRR.

Gaming TV
Amazing tv for gaming we bought this for a Xbox series X. The difference of 1080p to 1440p and 60hz to 120hz is like having a new console. Graphics and gameplay smoothness and sound is amazing my only advise is get a decent certified HDMI 2.1 cable suitable for the Hz and Dolby sound.Game changer!

Unfortunately faulty!
Unfortunately tv is faulty, bottom of tv has dark shadowing, I've used a whit image for you to see, however it's visible on black and colour aswell and appears the back light is fitted incorrectly, shame as the picture quality is amazing, return has been started. I might be just unlucky woth this purchase but at £600 I feel this shouldn't happen. I've had 3 philips ambilights before and all worked fine, might be a one off issue. U fortunately amazon don't replace products, so I've got to wait for a return and refund before I csn reorder and see what the situation is.
