Some of the glowsticks lasted three days! The average was probably just overnight, but if you're worried about longevity, I'd say that the majority of the sticks were adequate to good. I also got a 100 count pack and their performance was largely the same. The kids loved them for Halloween and we'll get them out for other nighttime holidays (New Year's Eve and July 4 come to mind). Also taking to theme parks (Disney) to give the kids glowing stuff that doesn't cost theme park prices is going to save money for sure. I bought enough that I could randomly surprise the kids every couple of weeks with a stick to serve the purpose of making sure they're still working ok until we get to the next time we'll use them, and after two months they still glow well once broken. I did have a couple break the inside part and start glowing when merely dropped, but that was the exception, not the rule. None broke open to release whatever goo it is inside.

As a single childless chick who stayed in on NYE with my dog, sister, niece, and nephew - I panicked a few days prior while wondering, "what the heck are we supposed to do all night without a jam packed bar and beat droppin' deejay?" Ding Ding, GLOW STICK PARTY!! I have a drawer full of glow sticks or glow stick packs, but necklace and bracelet making buys a limited amount of time. I couldn't believe I found this awesome assortment at such a steal and the package was exactly as described. We had a cover charge free good time, and although I still have all of the attachments I am certain I'll be buying this package again due to its overall value and appeal.

This is the most amazing item I ever bought. My kids, age 7, 4 and 3 were all playing for hours and days with it, and they're still playing with it. The light lasted for very long, some even lasted 24 hours, and the quality of the glow sticks are very good. I was excited to see that besides for the 50 glow sticks, there were additional 3 glasses packs and 1 headband pack. My kids made the most creative things with these sticks. My kids were extremely tired when I gave it to them, they went to sleep very very late the night before, and I was scared how cranky they'll be, but really this was my lifesaver. They were all playing together with these glow sticks for hours. All neighbors were amazed with this cute activity set that my kids were playing with. I'm already thinking when I should buy it again for my kids. I think this item should be rated as one of the top 10 toys. Thanks HotLite for having us all in mind.

This pack came with several attachments for glasses. I was surprised because other reviews (and details) mentioned one set. I believe that I have 4 sets (4-nose parts and 8-ear clips).They are very bright, and the plastic clips to join them are strong. They also react pretty well under blacklights without activating, so I think they'll react well when they no longer light up (after use). I'll update the review to verify some details.

Awesome addition to our New Years party. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to liven up an event. You can get really creative with these things and make a lot of crazy things. We only had 4 people and we lit most the sticks, so we had a lot fun with them and a lot of choices.

Bought for presents to keep the young kids preoccupied at holiday gatherings. They love them, and have commented on how long the light lasts. Very pleased that these are entertaining and safe.

I bought these for a party. The kids loved them. The glow sticks lasted for hours. There were several pieces that allowed to make jewelry and a ball. They were very inexpensive and provided the kids with a ton of entertainment.

I was very pleased with this package of glow sticks and accessories. The glasses and balls were a huge hit at my daughter's birthday party. I was amazed to see that the next morning most of the glow sticks were still glowing and continued to glow for most of the next day!! it will definitely keep you kids occupied for a long time.
